Playoff Tickets

Just an FYI, tickets went on sale an hour ago, from what I read it sounds like we have a week to buy our season seats for the playoff games. I left the ticket office a message this morning so we will see.

Lots on end zone seats for $10 available when I checked. For a playoff game, that is a smoking deal!

Can't wait for Dec 1!!!
 
Is anyone having trouble getting through to the ticket office # for the season ticket holders that want their playoff tickets (509-359-6059)? When I tried calling, multiple times, I got an out of service message....! :evil:

Ya....I left a message this morning and when I called back later I received the out of service message...

Try this number, 509-359-4339, answering service, will help you get to the right person. Heard at Coaches Luncheon today, numerous personnel had difficulty getting thru. According to Weather Last night, they were talking about phone lines out due to high winds. Vic

Thanks, Vic. I tried and left a message... fingers crossed someone gets it! I know the AD said on the coaches' show last night that they had a huge response and to be patient but I get anxious (especially with the holiday taking a couple of work days out of the week)!
 
Anyone else having luck with the ticket office calling you back? I know that they are busy, but I left a message on Monday morning, sent an email a few hours later, waited 24hrs before i called again yesterday, tried calling several times and never spoke to a single person and then left a message yesterday early afternoon. I have not received any follow up. I have two friends with season tickets who have not received any communication either. I called Tickets West to see if I could just buy my five season tickets that way and was told I had to call the EWU ticket office. So asked if a could just buy five tickets and they told me that they would not be able to give me five seats together on the press box side. A co-worker of mine, who is a huge Griz fan, said that would never happen at UM. :oops:

One positive, there is a TON of interest for tickest to this first playoff game! GO EAGS!
 
I was able to actually go online to Tickets West and purchase 5 tickets together in Section B. All is good for my tickets!

My experience was 180 degrees from yours. I called the ticket office yesterday about 10:00am left a detailed message as to what I wanted and Judy called me back before noon. I was impressed with the service given how swamped they must be.

I left a message on Monday and received a call back yesterday, they said they were swamped. They said it would be a couple days before everything was processed. If you left a message I'm sure you'll get a call back.

This has been my experience as well. I've called every number I could get through on (today was the first day that the advertised number didn't have an "out of order" recording) and have yet to talk with a person or get my messages answered. Emailed too with no response. This is a 180 degrees different experience from 2010 when Troy Kirby would get back to me within an hour ... I was totally spoiled! I just want someone to take my money and assure me that my tickets are reserved before the deadline!

Vic, it's our season tickets seats (section D, row 22, seat 1 & 2) under David's name and we would do the option of all the games for as long as they play (hopefully 3!). Thanks for any assist you can give!

I informed Ticket Office, reference the complaints on our blog reference no receiving callback, email reference your Tickets. They stated they are doing their best, and are now calling personnel back.
They said they made about 500 calls back yesterday, and is doing the same thing today. They said they have sold more tickets than 2010. I noticed there were about 1500 tickets in envelopes waiting for personnel to pick them up. I give some wrong information reference picking up your reserve tickets. Deadline is Nov.26th, not Nov. 25th, as I stated. They will Have personnel in the ticket office during the Holiday. Here is hoping all have gotten information from Ticket Office by now. Compliance Officer, Don Ross, was there today helping, and taking calls from Ticket Hunters. He was there taking and selling tickets while we were there. If I am not mistaking, most of those seats on the Press box side (Red Back Seats) are for personnel that donate a certain amount of money for Athletics. I could be wrong, I have 4 Red Back Seats, they cost me $500.00, for the FB Season. I could be wrong, check back on the 26th, and I hope you are lucky to get 5 seats together. Glad to hear that they've already sold more playoff tickets that in 2010! :thumb: However, I wonder which game in 2010 they're comparing that to? If I'm not mistaken, I think the first two games had attendence of around 4,000 and the last game against Nova was close to a sellout.
 
The only game that was a sellout in 2010 was Nova, the other two were poorly attended if I recall correctly. Particularly the NDSU game, because the weather was so bad.

But I think that will be different this year and we'll get better attendance for the opening game and I could potentially see a real big crowd if both us and App win our first games. Would love to get App up to Cheney and on ESPN. :thumb:
 
Glad to hear they'll have people in the office over the holiday! My hat's off to them for coming in to work on the long weekend. I was able to stop by today, and the staff was hustling the entire time I was there. Be patient folks, they'll get to you.
