Playoff Tickets

I read somewhere yesterday, there are approximately 1000 tickets left for the public. Hoping that means it could be "Sold Out Game". 2000 Students picked up their tickets for FB Game. Very good news. Go Eags! Vic

FC Cubed,
Hope your tickets purchase for this weekend game will game will be a little easier acquiring. Best of luck. I will be going out the Eastern on Monday, and pick up my 4 tickets. Have a great day. Vic Wallace.

Thanks for your concern Vic! I actually forfeited my season tickets because I didn't want to wait around for them to hopefully call. They did, but it wasn't until this past Tuesday and I don't think anyone could have blamed me for panicking overing my 5 seats when I didn't receive a call back. I just hope I can get 5 seats together this coming weekend! I'm pumped and can't wait!

At 10:30am the best 4 seats I could get were in Section F Row 23. That's the farthest outside section in bench seats. Are they really that far along in sales or are they hoarding the good seats? Last game I had 45 yardline seats with seat backs. What gives?

WHen I got through to the ticket office if you bought seats last week they are held under your name and payment info still. You just have to call in and give them your info and they will purchase same seats was the information that I recieved when I called.

When I called for last game she said they were really busy and it would be faster to use TicketWest. I called this morning and it went to voicemail so I called TW again and that's what I got. I left a message for EWU tickets. I hope I hear back...

Ugh...unfortunately I can't make the game this weekend (first one all year). My season seats are section E, row 12, right about the 35 yard line, 3 rows above the students. I'd love to keep my seats for the semi's (when EWU wins this weekend), so if someone wants to buy my seats for this game if you are having trouble finding other seats, just let me know. There are 2 seats, last week they cost was $15/ticket, $30 total, no fees, i'm sure its the same this week.

So did you sell them? I am coming up from Seattle and could only get end zone seats - I would be glad to purchase.

I had someone email me about 2 mins before you posted this or they would have been yours. Sorry....I'll get ya a beer or 2 in the semi's if they make it...

Enjoy the game.

For the second week in a row the Ticket Office has made a mess of the situation.
I'm sorry.
I can't bite my tongue any further.

This is making us look like a high school.

Very bad look for EWU

I have to agree. I understand it's not easy and I don't know all the details of what's going on, but whoever is running things down there is in way over their heads!! There is zero clarification on anything and it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack just to purchase tickets for the games.. I hope they get it figured out before people just decide not to show up.

I don't know the particulars of your situation so I can't comment except to say that when I got my season ticket seats for the Wagner game they asked if I wanted them for the duration of the playoffs (however many home games we continue on) and I took that option. Now those tickets are supposed to be at will call with no more hassle or phone calls ... Same deal as in 2010 and it worked like a charm.

Totally off topic, but worth posting, especially for you Hannah.

Thanks! It's especially gratifying when they take care of the important things like school since we know, sooner or later, they all put their pads on for a last time.

Here's my situation and my complaint.

Last week I had to place four or five calls and voicemails before I finally got confirmation on Friday that my season tickets were held. So since it was Friday before I heard I went ahead and bought two tickets off TicketsWest because I didn't have confidence in my season tickets being held. So like 2010 they said they would keep auto renewing my season tickets for each game. So come this week my card was charged on Monday for my tickets but also on Monday I called twice to the Ticket office to see about ordering two more tickets. I finally heard back yesterday and they told me they had the same two tickets I ordered game one and that they would charge my credit card for them. I told them they already charged my credit card on Monday. After about twenty minutes they told me they charged me for my season tickets, released MY season tickets to someone else, but not to worry because they had my two tickets I ordered from Tickets West from game one saved. Great. I got two tickets. Not my season tickets, which they charged me for then released to someone else. So if I hadn't called to order two more tickets for friends, I would have showed up Saturday with no season tickets, but a deduction on my credit card.

This football program is going to keep making runs in the playoffs. They need to figure this out by next year or maybe next week.

I am in the hotel business so I can appreciate what the ticket office is doing, and doing a very good at it. In the hotel business you have a specific number of reservations you can take for specific rooms and dates, the same as the football game. You can't sell the empty seats on Sunday and you can't sell them twice on Saturday. I am impressed with what they are doing on short notice, to sell 8000 seats in a few days is impressive. I am sure there are isolated cases that are difficult but my guess it is a very small percentage of the overall picture but when it is you that is affected it becomes personal. Good luck and have patience, it will make your game day experience much more pleasant

GDTBAE that would fire me up and is hard to defend. Way to be a trooper and sticking with the team! Personally I might have walked away and watched it on tv at the point you are at. FRUSTRATING.
