Playoff Tickets

I called the 359-4339 # Tuesday morning and got through immediately. They took my request and CC info and then called back that afternoon to confirm. I know others had difficulty but from my perspective, great job by the staff.

RE: 2010: We were under 4000 for SEMO, just over 4000 for NDSU, and around 6000 for Nova and that was after a bunch of businesses (mine included) purchased discounted ticket packages for local high schools.

And no, this would NEVER happen at Montana. You gotta make the playoffs.

HannahO,
Your tickets are in my possession, could give them to Grant, or hold them until the game.

Vic

Thanks, really appreciate you going the extra mile for us. I'll send you a PM with Dave's cell phone number so you and he can finalize the best way to do the hand off!

I don't understand how this is different from any other game...considering it's two weeks away and we have handled crowds this season that will probably bigger than what we'll have at this game...considering schools will be out and student tickets aren't free. Why are they so swamped?

I was only referring to the press box as a reference to which side of the field I was on. My season tickets are in sec A, but I was able to purchase tickets through Tickets West in Sec. B. Made me happy, better seats, same price! As of the ticket office, I have not received a call back and I left three different messages on three different days, and called multiple times. The number I called was 359-4339. I hope that I am in isolated case and that everyone else was taken care of. Even with this, I will still keep purchasing tickets all the way to Frisco!

Keep in mind during a regular game a ton of the seats are already sold as season tickets. So they don't have to deal with those.

True, forgot about that.

Alright, so the match up is set. Hosting Wagner with a kickoff at 3 pm. I've heard some positive things about ticket sales but no numbers. As we know, EWU had a rough time drawing attendence in 2010 during the playoffs as most FCS schools do during especially early playoff games. Weather forcast is calling for a high of 44 and a 70% chance of rain. Students will still be in town. Attendence predictions?

I'll hope for at least 6,000+...

I'll see your 6k and raise you a thousand,
7k + but it is all dependent on the weather, whether the locals show up or not

We will have over 8,000 fans and I think we have a great shot at selling this game out. Why? Because our players (and coaches) deserve this and the folks who read this blog will do all they can to help sell tickets. We all miss Troy but our staff is doing a tremendous job under challenging circumstances to provide the customer service our fans deserve. Stay positive, you all will have a good seat for this weekend.

There is plenty of room on the bandwagon, please jump on if you haven't been riding along already. Expect to see many ex-players and the parents of former players attending. Once things settle down at work this week I will be working the phones. I am also trying to think of some groups we might get to attend if someone buys a block of tickets. Boy Scouts, our local Special Olympics teams, youth sports teams, lots of others out there. If someone wants to sponsor some tickets send me a message and we can talk. Our students will show up, we need every other fan there so Wagner can experience a championship atmosphere. Buy some more tickets Monday and give them away as early Christmas presents.

Wagner is a worthy opponent and we all respect their ability. Let's demonstrate this by supporting our seniors and the Big Sky champs. Zach Johnson, Will Post, Jeff Minnerly, Brandon Kauffman and all our team leaders need you this weekend. And all your friends and relatives. See you Saturday.

I wonder if Wagner will have ANY fans show up to this game.
I'd imagine a good handful of parents/relatives will come... either on the charter or separately, considering how rare it is for Wagner to make the playoffs, and Wagner is a private college with high tuition and less scholarships... those New Yorahs can probably afford a flight out here.

As much as I fretted and complained earlier, I have to give the folks at the ticket office props: on Friday, while we were either sprawled in front of our TV in a post Thanksgiving food coma or (horrors) out in the Black Friday crowds, they were in the office returning phone calls. Big shout out and :thumb: to them.

HannahO is exactly right, the ticket office is doing a great job. While I was enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday in New Mexico the folks in our ticket office were on the job. They returned my call on Friday while I was hiking in the high desert. Thanks to them I'll have my regular season ticket seats for the playoffs. :thumb: :notworthy:

Boy oh boy, I really hope we draw well this playoff season. These games are hard to make money on without getting a good number of people to turn out. If I'm not mistaken, and me being mistaken sure wouldn't be the first time, 1000 student tickets will be distributed free of charge. For those students who don't get in that pool of 1000 tickets, they have to pay standard price.

Damn, after I posted this I saw the promo video and I think they said 2,000. Either way, that'll be immensely helpful in putting butts in seats.

I got my number from the video... Herd said 3,000. Clean your ears out. :D

To All,
If I heard correctly yesterday at Northern Quest, Coaches Meeting, the ticket sales goes to NCAA. I also taught we were getting the bread (money) from the ticket sales. Have anyone heard different? Anyway, was
at ticket office yesterday for a few minutes, people were still calling in for tickets, and numerous tickets were in a box waiting for pick up. Weather Forecast is for rain, with snow in higher elevations. Hope the rain is later in the evening, or earlier in the am, 45 degrees high.

Remember today is BB Coach Hayford will be at Swinging Doors on West Francis @ 6pm, Coaches Meeting.
Hope to see some Basketball Fans there. Scoreboard in BB Court is almost finish, supposed to be finish by Friday, before the game at 7pm. It is looking good, will be weird after being w/o a scoreboard for so long.
Hoping for a great turnout on Friday, support our Men/Women Basketball Team. Go Eags :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Vic

To All,
Had great crowd at Swinging Doors on West Francis, MBB Coaches meeting. Dinner (you purchase your own) was great. Met new friends from numerous Universities in the area, who are now also becoming Eagle Fans. The MBB Game on Friday evening is @ 6:30pm, not 7pm, as I stated earlier. Hoping for a great crowd Friday Night (New Scoreboard should be ready for the game. Go Eagles! Vic

Again, MBB Game time is at 6:05pm, this is after checking the time on my seasonal tickets. Game is on Friday Nov. 30,12. Hoping for a big crowd. Vic
