Portland St @ Wazzu

Go Vikings! Go Cougars! Ah crap, what do I do now?

I'll probably be rooting a tad louder for PSU because a) upsets are cool, b) PSU can definitely beat WSU, and most importantly c) because it will shut up all the arrogant Wazzu fans who call Ken Bone a "Big Sky coach who got too big for his head." Time for them to realize that the Big Sky has been faring much better than the Pac-10 this season (relatively speaking...).

Ken Bone, now at home in Pullman, prepares to take on his former team

Some respect from the Cougs: http://washingtonstate.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=1414&tid=136896072&mid=136896072&sid=1089&style=2

The Toyota Center is sold out for tomorrow. Anyone from this board going?

this is perhaps it. and it's good to see that wsu knows we are not a team to be taken lightly! lets go Viks, make Bone wish he never left!

we are doing horrible. .312 from the three line, and wazzu is .818 from behind the three. Im pretty sure that alone is going to do us in...

I don't know what was worse: the Portland State defense or the TV broadcasters on Fox. Poor performance by PSU tonight.

This game is a huge embarrassment for the Vikings. Admittedly, any team will have trouble defending against Klay Thompson, but our defense is nothing but a joke. Hardly the way to get respect in the NW.

Personally, I'm somewhat happy about this win because it fortifies WSU's OOC lead in the PAC-10 (will be rooting for the Pilots tonight), but I had hoped for good BB on both sides tonight. Oh well. If we can get the defensive issues under control, we will be a dominant force in the Big Sky. If not, we'll go down. The Sky is too competitive this year to only rely on a strong offense.

Probably just the holidays taking up the time for folks.

I was only able to watch the first half. In all honesty, I thought our first half was pretty decent for the most part. We really came apart at the end of the half.

13-16 for 3 pointers for WSU. Good gawd. Since I missed the entire 2nd half, I suspect that we went zone and tried to force them to make their 3's ala St Mary's.
