As far as entertainment value is concerned this was a pretty decent game. As a UNC fan I think it was a respectable performance but how do you lose at home by 10 when the other team has 6 turnovers? So being realistic PSU is not a good team at all, they did everything they could to try and give this game away literally but UNC didn't seem to be interested in doing much with all the opportunities. When the offense finally got it's act together and got UNC back in the game 24-21 the defense was a total let down and allowed PSU to meander down the field with no resistance for the game clinching TD.
Which brings me to my main point and biggest question, where is it written that you are only allow to rush 3 every play? As the other team nickels and dimes it's way down the field when was the rule passed that you couldn't, under any circumstance, rush more than 3? Why couldn't we blitz once? It was worth a try right? Because the dropping 8 into coverage wasn't working at all... Hell, fake a blitz even do something... Pathetic.
It was fitting that Braezale's finally quarter of his final game was reduced to his back breaking fumble... I won't miss that guy at all. Orms, please God be the real deal we need a decent QB so badly I don't think UNC fans can even remember what it's like to not have a terrible QB.
Beyond that the team seemed flat, so is that on coaching? Yeah, probably, but also with all the losing I can't half blame the team for packing it in.
Glad it's over at this point...
So how about scheduling Western State next year?
