We want to hear what you think. Please post comments on this board or send them to us. Tell us how many teams you think will make the playoffs and all e-mails will be entered into our July prize drawing. We may also post your comments on our fans voice page on the site!

We just put up a new poll. Please go and vote. How do you feel we did with the Top 25 and conference projections?

Also, due to the amount of feedback we have received about the Girls of SME, the SME Network plans to unveil additions to the Girls of SME pages. Each day we will do our best to put up a new page for the Girls of SME. When you click their pictures, the girl’s web page will come up. It was just a little something extra until the season gets started.

We are currently making the pages for each of the girls. Each day, when a new page is complete, we will link her page to the rest of the girls. We have a few ready to go this week. It’s not much, but we hope you enjoy. Leading things off is Sarah.

I think this is a year when we start seeing glaring weaknesses with the Grizzlies. They've been getting a little crappier every year. I know they continue to do well and go far into the playoffs, but I think they're getting by on their reputation. Rarely do they dominate like they used to. Given their recent off-the-field troubles, I have to draw a comparison to being able to blow up a balloon only so far before it pops.

So who steps up? PSU or MSU?

Obviously, I'm a little biased and I have to say MSU. I've bought the hype of the new coach.

Glanville and MD will obviously bring a lot of excitement to the program. I'm not entirely sold on Glanville as a defensive genius. I'm also not familiar with what MD brings offensively, but everything I hear supports that he's the real deal.

Now if you guys can only stop the suicide scheduling, I'd have to give you the edge (at least this year).

I think we'll have to see how fall practice and the beginning of the season goes. Both PSU and MSU each have a new coaching staff in place.

Is the offensive or defensive schemes for MSU changing at all with the coaching changes?

Both are changing, but neither will be sweeping overhauls.

Defensively, the Cats will switch from some kind of flex to a 3-4 variation. The Cats' defense now (I forget the name of it) is supposed to be the same thing the Chicago Bears and the TB Buccaneers use.

Offensively, the new coach has stated we'll use a spread offense. I'm not really sure how to interpret that as he hasn't given any indication as to whether he favors a run or a pass. At his former school, a majority of yards were gained on the ground in recent years, but overall the offense has been balanced as they've been able to run and pass will equal proficiency.

What kind of offense will MD run?

The run and shoot of course. :-)

The R & S is no stranger at PSU...

Hey Everyone,

Due to some feedback about the look of our site, we are trying to put together a new look for the website. Please check it and comment on it. You can also vote on the site about the new look.

Again, the SME Network values your opinions. Please keep in mind it will take a few days to have the entire look of the site up to date. It will all be one format, similar to the homepage. What do you think?
