Potential FCS upsets

Check out PSU, they are leading Oregon State by 1. 14-13 at the end of the 2nd

 This would be the third year in a row Oregon State loses to a Big Sky school. I hope Portland pulls through!

Holy smokes, how bad would it be if they lost to a Big Sky team three years in a row?

I think NDSU is going to take down Iowa State.
I think so too. I dislike NDSU, mostly because of their fans, but you have to admit that what they have done is impressive. They don't seem to have missed a beat, either. Their fans are also louder than ISU's. :o

FWIW, Iowa State might be the toughest job in all of the BCS. Even in the sparse state of Iowa, they are dwarfed in support by the Hawkeyes. There are few places to recruit from, and they play in the only league that'll take them--- the Big XII--- and they don't have profit sharing in that conference. Even when they play conference foes tough, the refs put the job on them. Remember that Texas game last year that was just stolen from them?

That's a shit state of affairs.

Good grief, how the hell do they not have profit sharing in the B12? Let me guess - Texas has something to do with this.

Montana State at Arkansas State is on ESPN3. ASU got a quick score and then made MSU go three and out on their first possession.

The rest of the Big Sky certainly hasn't looked very impressive so far. I think an 8-0 or 7-1 conference record is a very realistic goal for this team.

Montana now getting hammered but we've got another weather delay. Guess I'll turn the MSU game on.

Game over, Wyoming wins. Montana had a 4th and short (albeit on their side of the field) and elected to punt the ball away and let Wyo run out the clock. Can't believe that Delaney wouldn't show a little confidence in his players and give them a shot to win the game. Was not overly impressed with either team. Montana has Offensive Line issues, and Wyoming's offense was atrocious with the exception of a couple of big plays. I agree that we'd beat at least half the schools in the MWC.

Oh yeah...Wyo game playing "All I do is win" at the end of the game...seriously?

heading to the game! prediction, Eagles by 30!

Ill go Eagles by 50

EWU 62, Montana-Western 14

Watching Montana State play Arkansas State. MSU is hanging pretty tough, but their offense looks pretty "meh" to be honest.

If the Pokes had any kind of a passing game, it wouldn't have been close.

Shocked at the NDSU score over ISU. Didn't think they would reload in quite this fashion. CAA "has some splaining to do". Woodshed for JMU and Delaware and Towson loses to Cent Conn St?

Not great for BigSky, but not terrible either. Agree with Ranger that this team can be 8-0. Stay focused Eags!

No shit. Seriously, losing that Nc game to Eastern sent Delaware into a downward spiral that just turned into an all-out free-fall. 62-0!!! And it could have been 90-0 had Pitt not been subbing out early in the 3rd. And what about Towson? Isn't CCSU an also-ran in Wagner's limited schollie league?

Towson off to an 0-2 start. CAA looks terrible. 0-54 against WV yesterday.

Weber had a respectable showing against NDSU with 2 picks 7 - 24 final

SDSU may be good enough to surprise the Bizon...

Southland:
SHSU got spanked by LSU, but McNeese pulled out a loss at Nebraska in the final minute. SELA is dominant.

Gonna come down to SDSU, NDSU, EWU, SELA, maybe SIU. SoCon sucks this season and OVC.. so so. Time will tell.

MVC is ridiculous this year. Between NDSU, UNI, and SDSU, I haven't decided who will walk out with the conference title. Youngstown probably won't hang with them, but they are potential playoff material.

I was surprised by Mcneese's performance. I had been poking around for information on them, but hadn't learn much. I was hoping they were overrated. I hope they flop in the playoffs again. They are the Montana State of the SLC.

Forgot about UNI. MVC looks good. Well, to be the best, got to beat the best. ;-)

I am still trying to figure out what UNI has done besides lose to Iowa to garner all this attention.

Good point, we definitely need to see more. I think they are hyped up with an unlucky season in 2013 and returning most of their players. You're right that they have yet to prove anything. However, Iowa is a good football squad and they hung with them tough. Their game with Hawaii should give the FCS answers.

They are hyped. Win their conference, and they'll get my attention.
