Towson off to an 0-2 start. CAA looks terrible. 0-54 against WV yesterday.

Weber had a respectable showing against NDSU with 2 picks 7 - 24 final

SDSU may be good enough to surprise the Bizon...

Southland:
SHSU got spanked by LSU, but McNeese pulled out a loss at Nebraska in the final minute. SELA is dominant.

Gonna come down to SDSU, NDSU, EWU, SELA, maybe SIU. SoCon sucks this season and OVC.. so so. Time will tell.

MVC is ridiculous this year. Between NDSU, UNI, and SDSU, I haven't decided who will walk out with the conference title. Youngstown probably won't hang with them, but they are potential playoff material.

I was surprised by Mcneese's performance. I had been poking around for information on them, but hadn't learn much. I was hoping they were overrated. I hope they flop in the playoffs again. They are the Montana State of the SLC.

Forgot about UNI. MVC looks good. Well, to be the best, got to beat the best. ;-)

I am still trying to figure out what UNI has done besides lose to Iowa to garner all this attention.

Good point, we definitely need to see more. I think they are hyped up with an unlucky season in 2013 and returning most of their players. You're right that they have yet to prove anything. However, Iowa is a good football squad and they hung with them tough. Their game with Hawaii should give the FCS answers.
They are hyped. Win their conference, and they'll get my attention.

Ranger is super FROSTY today ;-).

UNI was last year was like us in 2011, absolutely desiccated with injuries. And IIRC they had 3 straight overtime losses.

I also wouldn't discount SIU who returns 18 starters of a decent team from last year.

So I see that NDSU got a 21 point win over arguably the worst team in the Big Sky, save maybe Northern Colorado. I will keep them as my #1 for now, but I guess I expected a little more.

I watched Weber State in their first game against Utah. They look like they have improved a ton this year. Both them and Idaho State look credible this season. Heck, even Northern Colorado looks credible. There's not going to be many auto-wins in the conference this year.
