PREDICTION THREAD UM 20@EWU 37 NEXT!!! Eags WIN

I just think we are the more talented team and know how to win.

Montana teams of 5+ years ago knew how to win and would find away to get the W. But, the current Griz staff and group of players just doesn't have that winning edge; Beau and company have IT.

EWU will apply the pressure and Montana will crack, bank on it :coffee:

Don't sweat it. This team has plenty of heart and it won't come down to a single extra point. Let's see JJ and company try to keep up with the Eagle offense and not blow a gasket. About time for the Griz to hibernate.

I agree with you. JJ and team will have to keep up. However.....EWU will not get a slew of points against this Griz defense. It will probably score like last game, but the Griz on top.

It's been said, the Eag's best defense is the offense. It applies here. Wags is a force on the D Line for sure, looking forward to seeing him double teamed, especially on passing plays. Unfortunately for the Griz, EWU's D started to show some ability of creating the turnover as the season progressed. As the offense scores early and often, JJ and company press to keep pace and then ... well you get the idea.

You won't see the same offense this time and our defense continues to get better every game. You will have your hands full Saturday.
 
I hope we don't see the same offense, the one who had 527 yards the last time we played. Hopefully we can keep total yards under that amount and make the red zone difficult. Yes, the UM "D" is good...good enough is the question and yes EWU will have it's hands full.

I've been critical of the defense this year but they are creating turnovers and I think that trend continues into the playoffs. Also, I think Tevin McDonald is poised for a nice playoff run. The guy seems to have a nose for the ball and will be a force for this years playoff run. He will be a difference maker.

Tevin has been a real game changer all season with how he's created some really clutch turnovers in several games. I really hope that trend continues in the playoffs.
 
We've had UM's number for 3 quarters of the last 2 games and survived with W's. I suspect the game will feel more in balance this time with another W for EWU.

42-30 with our D getting a huge TD in the 4th putting us up for the final score. The whole cast will be playing lights out, get ready for a car wreck!
 
I honestly don't think this game is going to be close. I think we are going to absolutely dominate and humiliate the Griz in this one. We are as healthy as we have been playing all year, playing at home, playing a team we know we can beat. This one won't be close
