PREDICTION THREAD UM 20@EWU 37 NEXT!!! Eags WIN

Until last month's game EWU hadn't defeated Montana by 10+ since 2005.

Will be very surprised if EWU wins by more than two scores. Expect another typical EWU/Griz game where no lead is safe.

BTW, Vegas has EWU as a 9 point favorite. Sounds about right.

VA will be the key to winning this game, not because of his athletic abilities but his ability to read the defense. If he does as he has and adjusts the offensive plays to beat the D the Eagles will win... by 10

Wrong on number of points, but I nailed the margin. :D

I had predicted a 10 point win not anticipating how many points the defense would contribute. They really carried the day for the Eagles. First with Ronnies blocked punt set up a very short field. Todd Raynes first pick stopped a drive that would have produced at least 3 if not 7 points. Stripping the ball from Van on top of the pile set the offense up with another short field. Then Raynes pick 6 at the end of the game capped off an outstanding effort. The defense can take credit for at least 14 and arguably 24 points.
I'm glad I was wrong.
