Barn burner a la MSU, except like just with that game it never felt like the Eags weren't in control. I think our D forces more field goals than theirs and that is the major difference. We also will win the T/O battle by 1.

Our D is much better than the stats suggest, and our offense comes back to life! Finally the complete game we've been looking for!

Cupp gets 2 more TDs, RB's get 2, and other WR's get 3 and whoever our kicker is sneaks in a FG and makes all extra points.

DOPA says, I'd LOVE to finally see a game where our defense comes out organized and makes a quick stop to start the game. I have no idea what's going on in our film sessions that always leaves our defense looking clueless

With you on this Dopa. Have got to get off the field quicker today or it will get ugly; can't give up 40+ minutes of TOP. This is a mixture of both sides of the ball, but it would be nice if the film work actually amounted to some advantage when play begins. Not looking for anything spectacular, a good base defensive effort (maintain line of scrimmage and edges with DL, let LB's and rover flow to play and keep WR's in front of DB's combined with good drops by LB's and hands up DL would probably be enough to cause disruption; i.e. heads up play) Being a fan can bring on a few gray hairs.

I'll definitely be in here to eat crow if I'm wrong and I hope I am! Outside of Oregon NAU has the best offense we will see all year in the regular season. #1 QB, #1 RB, #2 WR (behind only Kupp) and a very good offensive line. It will take this team's best effort to win this game, and so far I'm not convinced. Unfortunately a 1-2 or even 0-3 finish seems likely playing the way we have been. Again, hope I am completely wrong on this.

NAU is a good team and they have a lot of weapons on offense, but they are beatable. I suppose we're supposed to forget the 77-13 drubbing they took at Arizona or the 38-24 loss to UC Davis? Come on, you make it sound like we're not going to be competitive at all. Sure, we could lose, but by that margin? No way.

caveat - play like last week and give NAU 42 minutes of TOP and it will be Eags 17 - NAU 42 :shock:

It was even worse, 4 turnovers and NAU with 36 min TOP = 52-30.. Wake up call??? Big game next week, let's hope so.
