Program Put On Probation

I wish your program all of the best. All I was doing was trying to tell people in another section of the country what some schools get by with while others get nailed for much less. I think that's important and I realize the very, very few people who come here are interested in talking Wildcat football....therefore...I won't be back. Yeah....Unc has gotten by with multitudes of things since the 1980's; look up CHEATER in Websters and you get a picture of Unc Athletics. Go Wildcats! I really wish you nothing but the best.

I for one appreciate your passion and support of Weber State. Thank you!!

Wow, nine scholarships. This will a hit to the team progress.
However, Im sure Jay Hill is not stupid and will see the writing on the wall. :wall: He will probably begin recruiting athletes that were overlooked such as the Walk On's athletes :coffee: (Like SJSU or USU does) and players with Acedemic Scholarships (Cal, or Stanford). :geek:
Or he can also secure scholarship athletes from other sports such as Track & Field (WR, RB, TE), Basketball (TE, WR), Baseball (QB) and Rugby (OL, DL, LB). Like other schools(ex. Miami, FSU, USC Etc.) There are plenty of scholarships out there to make up the nine losses. Im sure there are plenty of athletes out there that are right under his nose that want to be apart of a Division 1aa school football program. :stir:

North Carolina will get a slap on the wrist. Crap that Weber gets kicked in the stomach and the "big boys" get a stern warning. Coach had to have known. No way Jerry doesn't tell the football coach that there are potential NCAA issues. Maybe Jerry only told him enough to introduce the issue to Coach so that he couldn't be held accountable. Holding back on information to keep Hill safe and his players protected?

Time will tell on UNC, the NCAA punishment handed down to Syracuse men's basketball is not a slap on the wrist, which includes coach Jim Boeheim being suspended for nine ACC games, the loss of 12 scholarships and 108 wins will be vacated (I wonder if that will stick or if they will restore any like they did with Paterno).
