PSU VS UCLA

I'm not surprised with the outcome here. We need to work on the turnovers, and I think there was a lot of first game gitters. To go and play really the best team in the nation to open the season is tough.

As far as the point spread, I was almost right on, but both teams underperformed on the offensive end. Mbah a Moute, Morrison, and Lucas will all have better nights than tonight this season, and not many worse ones. Dominguez lived up to expectations, Julius Thomas brought the hard work he is known for, and Mara was a pleasant surprise offensively. The rest of the Vikings have their work cut out for them as the season progresses.

Mickey Polis was terrible. His only two possessions in the first half were turnovers. If he can't handle the ball, Dominguez is going to have a tough season.

Thanks for having me here on your message board this week...I enjoyed the discussion.

Your kids played tough, but, as I said, they were overmatched...As the season moves on, they will win plenty of games...

Best of luck with the rest of the season...Hope to see you in the NCAAs...

Take care,
Steve

Okay. PSU loses. I don't think this really says anything about PSU. I'll be more interested a few games in to the season. UCLA is not a standard Pac-10 team. They have unbelievable players. Love is a real phenom. And Callison didn't even play. As a PSU fan I am looking forward to getting a little further into the season to judge how PSU will fare this season. I still have huge concerns about our guard situation.

Oregonian scumbags

They publish an article about the glory of some traitor on a PAC-10 team in Hell-A, using words like "pesky" and "scrappy" to describe the Viks.

Joe freeman can choke on his hero's schwanz.
