PSU VS UM

I tuned in late and we were up 41! How did this happen?

We are killing them on the boards, plus shooting over 60%.

This team smells the tournament and we're like sharks with blood in the water.

To tell you the truth, I think Montana has the best talent in the conference, so winning like this is just amazing!

Talent maybe - but the ability to be consistent and gel is not their forte. PSU has just been murdering people and shooting well.

Look at 2005, I think PSU had an even more talented team, and the Viks loss their first game in the tourney. I think we have a real good chance, but let's stay humble and hungry. Go Viks!

That's not even close to true.

The Griz have a lot of good shooters, but they don't have much speed or athleticism.

This is a much deeper team than three years ago. Boxley may have been better than any current player but the average talent is MUCH higher. Three years ago we weren't playing this well.

Honestly the only disappointment tonight is that they finished 4 points short of doubling them up.

Agree they don't have much speed or athleticism, but they do have a front line of 6-7, 6-9 and 6-11 who are all decent players. Also, they have some very good shooting guards and forwards. I'm not defending the Griz, I dislike Montana as much as the next Viking, but their biggest problem is the coach. That's how I see it. I agree with Skywaker9 that this group of Viks are deeper then the 2005 version and Boxley was individually better then any single player we have now, but in the end, go Viks and let's win the tournament.

I concur. It's coaching that is the problem. Larry K would have this same squad fighting to host the tourney.
