It seems to me that M. Dorsey was the best defensive player from the spring game. There were notable performances from others as well. But as JG said, the coaches have a pretty good idea who the ones are. The point of the spring game for them was to see who are capable backups-the 2nd and 3rd stringers who can produce. It was the backups vs the first team. The first team (offense and defense) should have done well. Who performed well against the first team? On defense, there were several "white" players with multiple tackles. On offense, the "white" players showed well at wide receiver; not so well at running back. What is your opinion? Who did you believe performed well enough to be considered a strong contender to contribute?
 
I think that if anybody's going to contribute on the White team it's Bramow or Thompson. On defense, I look for Porter, and former high school star Jake Fetzer.
 
I was impressed with the sophomore DB, #31. He laid a heckuva hit on Ali. Knocked him out of bounds, had a couple of knockdowns and led the 1st defense in tackles according to the goviks.com site.
