Road Trip to Bozeman

Besides the win (Obviously), how was your game-day experience in Bozeman?
It was good. On sat AM I was walking around town and got a lot of looks. After the game several fans congratulated the victory.
Just my impression but it seems the Griz fans are a little more savvy and sophisticated as to the details of the game. Like the on side kick, the fans boo'd the call. It was VERY obvious the ball did not go 10 yards yet the fans thought it was a bad call. Don't think they knew what was going on.
I liked the card stunt. Whom ever organizes game day does a good job with all that is going on pre game and during the game.
One question, why is the score board operator so stingy with replays. Even good ones in Bobcat favor slide right by.

We had a very nice time in Bozeman. We were in the upper section of an endzone horseshoe. Very nice stadium. I could see Roos Field looking similar, with the inferno of course. The Great Falls Tailgate was nice, not very many MSU fans came to talk to my wife and I. I was a little dissapointed about that. It would have been nice to be able to talk football with more Bobcat fans. Our seats were nice, good view of the field. The only problem we ran into was a couple with foul mouths behind us. I didn't catch him doing it, but my wife said the guy behing her was flapping his clapper noisemaker right next to her ear. I think next time we go I will have to try to sit with the Players' parents. Great town, good food, nice people. One thing I did notice though is that MSU needs to focus on their own team. They have a good one. Stop worrying about the Grizzlies so much. It felt like MSU is a jealous little brother. All in all? We had fun, I wanna go back and get some fly fishing in.

I couldn't help but think that they were overly involved in the Griz rivalry when I read the entry that mentioned the mutulation of the stuffed bear before every game. I can see having that sort of thing going the day of the UM game but to do that every game and to chant FTG every game, every sport does seem to exhibit some insecurity.
