Fleming's accuracy is suffering today. Maybe he's rusty or the 46 degrees is bothering him or, more likely, the Eagles D.

Well if Sperbeck can pull his head out of his ass there is still some hope. The play calling has been gawd awful at this point. Hilliard is having some success but for some reason Sperbeck feels the need to test the EWU secondary with an average at best passing attack. I think this game would be closer if the Hornets just lined up and went straight at the EWU defense.StungAlum said:
Still a second half to play. The offense left some points out on the field but if the D can make stops, the Hornets can climb back into it. If TJ is done for the game, that will help the cause.

A solid Hilliard run is called back on a hold. Fleming has not had a good throw all day. A wide open guy for a a pick up of about 10 and Fleming throws it way too high. Fleming throws it right to an EWU DB on the next play. Fvck he is terrible.
D stops EWU on 3rd and 1. EWU to punt. Hornets catch a break and its a touchback.
3 straight runs with Hilliard for about 20 yards.
Fade route to Deadder is under thrown by Fleming, he had him beat, Fleming throws it right and it goes for a big gain.

We seem to be ready to move the ball then we self-destruct w/a penalty then a T.O. We need to go all the way once and we may get out of our funk. Another observation; these announcer's are a whole lot better than Montana's!
Norrise with an amazing grab on a high throw from Fleming. Hornets pick up the first on 3rd and 3. Hilliard goes for 10 on the next play.
Hilliard with another good chunk of yardage for a Hornet 1st down. Hornets stuffed but EWU is called on a late hit.
Fade route is incomplete following a Hilliard run. 3rd and 8.
WOW. Looked like a play action screen set up and FLeming slips and gets hit and throws it backwards. EWU recovers. Just PATHETIC execution by the offense in scoring position today. PATHETIC.

Holding call on the Hornets. I just don;t understand how this team is playing so awful and undisciplined following a bye week. This is on the coaches for not having this team prepared to play the game.
