Sac State Game thread

Hey, a win's a win however it comes. We've got an 0-5 (probably 0-6 by the time we play them) UC Davis team for Homecoming in a couple weeks. Win that one and we've stumbled into being 4-2 somehow. After the last decade we've endured I'm not going to complain.

Very true. A bye week is much needed to get some guys healthy.

The play calling, once again, has these kids looking confused and finishing with poor results. A win was in spite of the coaches. Congrats to the team! And, once again, calls from OC Boyer and Coach Collins to continuously play and throw balls to kids who drop passes, can't get their feet down in bounds, etc. The D allowed Sac State to just run down field. Were it not for key turnovers, we would not even be in this boat- rather shaking our heads at yet another Collins debacle. This is college ball, for God's sake. But, let a white kid make those mistakes and they are out- or the passes/handoffs, etc. stop. Don't believe me? Ask the kids. Go back and review tapes. Complete BS.

The blatant preferential treatment with this team should be making headlines. But, because it is "reverse discrimination", nothing. SMDH. And, if anyone thinks we looked good yesterday, they are mistaken. But if the coach actually allowed the true talent to shine, this team would win. In much bigger fashion. However, don't hold your breath on that ever happening. Not with this band of misfits running the show.

They won but let's not kid ourselves, it might be another 100 years of UNC football before we run back two fumbles for TD's and a 100 yard kick off return. The offence is God awful and that can't be overlooked.

I will take a win however it comes, but the offense was pathetic. Poor planning, poor playing calling, and some poor execution. Over the last 3 games the offense has scored 26 points, or 8 points a game. 17 of those points were in the last 20 minutes of the Weber game after they began pulling starters. I know the players are here to win and are doing their best, but that doesn't matter when there is no leadership or direction. Somebody needs to be fired tomorrow. If not Collins, than Boyer. If the offense cant score, then we will lose the remainder of our games.
