Sac

Well Olds..I watched the replay as I was on a cruise when the game was played...you were correct about the location of the temporary bleachers..they were put there for "Greek Night" and the frats got those seats reserved for them, if you listen to our announcer he even stated that those temporaries are usually set up on the other end...the band, when they are at games are always located in that last section of seats...and as far as cheerleaders between the padded stanchions and the court, that did not happen even once, let alone multiple times as you state...I watched the whole replay and if you can tell me at what time on the clock that happened I will watch it again and apologize...if not, I think you may owe us one...
I could be remembering the PSU game. If I am, I am sorry. I thought it was Sac and PSU, but it may have just been PSU. From the camera angle, behind the FT shooter, you clearly see the cheerleader shaking her pom poms. I don't think it is that big of a deal. You see it everywhere. I just thought it was silly for them to move our cheerleaders and frat boys. We do get more scrutiny being this close to the BSC offices. There is a BSC rep at almost every game at the Dee. I don't think that happens at other schools. :coffee:

A little late to the party but:

Great atmosphere for the game. I missed some home games this year but this was the first with the band that I attended. Loved the base line bleachers on the east side of the court (2nd half visitor side), about fvcking time facilities finally figured that out.

You guys knocked Senglin for missing his 3's but a good portion of that was caused by Le'Afa's defense. He also shut down Telfair the following game.

All in all it was a fun game to be at. I just wish the Hornets had a better 2, I think we would be in the thick of it if that was the case. We don't have the horses to get past the 2nd round of the BSCT this year...if we even get that far. My money is on Weebs to take the regular season and tourney crown. :twocents:

I think we will end up playing you guys or PSU in the second round. That is what it looks like right now.

If the tournament started this weekend Weber would play the winner of Portland State and NAU. It would be UNC instead of NAU but the Cubbies are not eligible for the post season.

Here is the current bracket which is of course subject to change

Tuesday the 7th

#8 Portland State
#9 Northern Arizona

#7 Sacramento State
#10 Idaho State

#6 Montana State
#11 Southern Utah

Thursday the 9th

#1 Weber State
#8 vs #9 winner

#4 Idaho
#5 Montana

#3 Eastern Washington
#7 vs #10 winner

#2 North Dakota
#6 vs #11 winner

Another reason why I hate reNO. After the first round lowest remaining seed should play highest remaining seed. I hate how the tournament is set up.

On the other hand, Tal, the way it is gives a little bit of preparation time to the top 4 teams, and this year the top 5. I think that most coaches will tell you that being able to prepare is a huge advantage. Although, it is lessened by the fact that you have already played everyone. Friday's games are harder because you really don't have much prep time. Saturdays game is just a dog fight. :coffee:
