Sacramento State Thread

I'm still bitter about that loss to Sac State earlier in the season. I hope we beat them five hundred to three.

PS. Those three Sac State points are scored by a PSU player.

Bitter about the loss where we played horrible for 2/3 of the game and let them open a gigantic lead? It isn't like we were robbed by the officials or anything, so I don't really feel any more bitter about that loss than any other.Last edited by on 2007-02-22, 16:34; edited 1 time in total

...and so much for Northern Colorado beating Montana State.

Still, on one hand, PSU is a game and a half out of second. On the other, PSU has 2 left, NAU and Montana have 3, Idaho State has four games to play between now and Tuesday.

Weber 11-4
NAU 8-5
Montana 8-5
ISU 7-5
MSU 8-6
PSU 7-7
EWU 6-8
Sac 4-9
UNC out

Main message: don't lose. EWU probably won't. Mind you, given the regular season champion hosts the conference tourney, I'd prefer finishing 6th to 2nd or 3rd.

TONIGHT
ISU @ EWU
Sac @ PSU
NAU @ Montana

SAT
ISU @ PSU
Sac @ EWU
UNC @ Montana

SUN
NAU @ MSU

MON
Montana @ ISU
WSU @ Sac

TUE
MSU @ ISU
UNC @ NAU

(I tend to think PSU makes it in at 8-8 anyway, but don't tell the players I said that

I'm of the mind that once the tourney starts, it's anyone's for the taking. I'm not convinced that Weber is in the big dance yet. With consistent all-around production I think PSU can beat anyone. If Stuckey is out, I'd feel a lot more comfortable about PSU's chances.

If we hadn't lost to this team down in Sacramento, we'd be finalizing a home tourney game on Saturday. Had our point guards played better tonight, we'd have won by 40. Huff, AW, and Morrison were really fun to watch tonight.

I made it to the game late last night. I noticed on the ESPN box score that Morrison came off the bench and AW started. Is this correct? Thanks..

Hmmm must have motivated him, I only saw the 2nd half but he was a beast
