San Diego vs UNC

I know absolutely nothing about San Diego. Being in the dark has never stopped me from having an opinion though :lol: I see this as a win and since I have no better basis I will say it is because they have a new coach and no scholarships.

I would enjoy some actual insite into the SD program if anyone has it.

PSU, I can't wait till you come to Greeley. I'm tired of hearing about your great team, RB's and baseball stadium. It's time to be humbled, and late November in Greeley will be a good test.

Well hopefully your team can play up to your expectations, cause in last years game, you were heavily over-matched. We put the 2nd teams in the 3rd quarter :roll: I see us going to UNC and blowing you guys out by 30 points.
 
Is the SD game UNC's second game? I hope so, cause Josh Johnson is going to miss the first to games of the season.
 
Azusa Pacific an NAIA school put up 35 points on these guys. I hope our offense can do better then that. They do have a pro-prospect at Qb, our d-backs will be tested often. I still say we win this game. It's our best hope on this long road stand.
 
Any of you have watched this team the past two years, (as much as i hate to say this) they are gonna lose. From my inside person ON THE TEAM the players are not inspired by the coaching staff there for they are just collecting frequent flyers miles and seeing some of our great country side. Regardless of who San Diego trotts out on the field they are better than who we got. Come on, we lost to Chadron St!!!!!!!!!! Anyone of you who have been a player or a long time fan understands how embarassing that really is..................
 
QB Josh Johnson is a senior this year, and is going to be one of the better individuals you face this season. USD beat Azusa Pacific (where Christian Okoye played), and beat them 42-32. The score really doesn't tell the story - USD was up 42-10 in the 4th quarter and emptied the benches. Azusa scored 22 points in about 3 minutes on a punt return, interception, and then got the onside kick and scored. USD then put the starters back in and marched down the field 70 yards in about 2 minutes and took a knee to end the game inside the 10 yard line. So I wouldn't read too much into that game other than we have no depth.

USD then beat Marist College 38-17, where QB Johnson threw for 402 yards on 24-28 attempts and 3 TD's. The defense struggled with many stupid penalties. Several roughing the passer calls, and PI. Not a great night for the defense.

I think this will be a very tough game for USD - we are missing several key people on defense due to injury from camp which is why we have ZERO depth at all.

To be honest, I think USD could steal this game from UNC but it will be very tough. Even though you guys have struggled I have to think you have so much more depth then we do.

What I can tell you is that your DB's will be tested and get everything they can handle and more. I think we can score on UNC but I don't think we can stop you guys either. I am really anxious to see how we stack up against your program. I hope its a safe, fun, injury free game!

Man Bear2003, you are down on the CSC Eagles. That was last Saturday, and this is a new week. I say UNC 21- USD 24. We will drop another but it will be close. Does anyone know where to go in Greeley to see the out of town games? I went to my local drinking establishment to watch the Hawaii game and they looked at me as if I had two heads when I requested the Northern Colorado game. Back to the embarrassment aspect of this whole thing...How come I can watch Elway's kid put up lackluster performances on Altitude every weekend for free but I can't get my Bears? Don't get me wrong, I know that there are no other High School Football teams besides Cherry Creek and Mullen :roll:, but I'd rather watch the Bears play ball.
 
Jackson's had the hawai'i game i think they did all the away games last year on big sky tv, if there is a way to watch it i would say jacksons is your best bet
 
Hey, just got back form the Nationals-Braves game. We have 6 points!!!!

Of course the other team has 21. Looks like we are moving the ball a bit though (4 minutes left in the 2nd quarter).
