For the record, I'm not a fan of the red turf. But, I CAN'T be the first to mention how difficult the red uniforms against the red turf is to see, right?!?!?! Seriously, it's a bit of an issue. The Eags should go with the red helmuts, black pants and white jerseys for home games.........It would solve the problem....

As for this game, wow....Congrats to Coach Baldwin and crew and keep it going. The state needs another national football champion. I belive toe last to earn an NC was Kitna and Company in 1995! Go Cats!

They just said that more than likely the NDSU game will be played in Cheney.Good thing, as EWU is going to need every advantage it can get.....They throttled Montana State (in Bozeman) and beat Kansas earlier in the year. HUGE test for the Eagles!

GO EAGS! As a CWU Wildcat fan, it's REALLY tough for me to root for teams who have shut us down. However, when MY team ISN'T playin the Eastern Eagles, or the COUGS, I root for 'em! Number ONE in the nation?!?!?!?! Go get 'em, boys, and make the state proud!

I'm giving the game ball this week to Nick Edwards.

The usual studs all showed up and had big games too (TJ, Renard, the other TJ, JC, BLM, the whole alphabet), but Nick stepped up with Gant down and Kauf hobbled, and came up big time when we needed him.

Way to go Nick! Prime time, is Edwards time.
