For the record, I'm not a fan of the red turf. But, I CAN'T be the first to mention how difficult the red uniforms against the red turf is to see, right?!?!?! Seriously, it's a bit of an issue. The Eags should go with the red helmuts, black pants and white jerseys for home games.........It would solve the problem....
As for this game, wow....Congrats to Coach Baldwin and crew and keep it going. The state needs another national football champion. I belive toe last to earn an NC was Kitna and Company in 1995! Go Cats!

I'm giving the game ball this week to Nick Edwards.
The usual studs all showed up and had big games too (TJ, Renard, the other TJ, JC, BLM, the whole alphabet), but Nick stepped up with Gant down and Kauf hobbled, and came up big time when we needed him.
Way to go Nick! Prime time, is Edwards time.

i hade higher hopes for Edwards this season but was very happy to see him step up when it matterd. great job
One last thought before we put this thread to bed and at the risk of dating myself, did the SEMO mascot remind anyone else of the chicken from the old Foghorn Leghorn cartoon - "I'm not a chicken, I'm a CHICKEN HAWK!" :lol: I know, it's been a long weekend so I'm off to bed!
