Season Finale - vs. Idaho State

I've said it before and I say it again for the last time. If Weber is going to take the next step next year they have to find a better QB. Clark is not fundamentally sound and it results in overthrows, interceptions etc. Sometimes, when I watch his reads (minimal) I think he must be blind. He just doesn't have top-level QB skills and he has had enough time and experience to have developed them already. He has to go. . Yes, we can win some games with him. But if we want to win the conference and win some games in the playoffs we must significantly improve the QB position.

He picks a receiver before the play even starts and watches him the whole way. If i was a DB I would just follow his eyes. he needs to learn to look off the db to get him to bight and then go to his target. This whole year when there was a 3rd or 4th and really short, Clark needed just to get behind big Joe and the other 300 lbs and fall forward.

Some of the worst officiating I've ever seen.

Despite some of the frustrations along the way, pretty solid season for the Wildcats. I would not have guessed six wins before the season started. Next year could be even better with so many starters coming back. Just hope the QB play doesn't limit what can be accomplished.

:agree: on all 3 points, and would add the OC job needs to be done better. The play call is soooo predictable and often poor.

I am excited to see if Hill's mission recruits can start coming home and adding to the improvement he's been able to make in his first 2 years. Although there have been frequent frustrations, this team has exceeded expectations and has become competitive and is generating interest and excitement again. Hoping for great things to come in the next couple of seasons.

Yeah, inspite of the horrible officiating, and a couple of endzone pics... we pull out a close win against the Bungles. LoL
I think that this years results inspite of our obvious weaknesses is outstanding. We were actually just a few plays from having an 7 or 8 win season. With improvements at QB, WR, and a couple other positions, we could be a very good team next year.
We'll have Hill's 3rd recruiring class at spring ball. I am hoping for fierce competition at EVERY position. Great Great Great season Wildcats!
