Troy, what else did Downing have to say in the coach's show for those of us who didn't hear the broadcast? Anything new? Did you happen to ask him why he ran out the clock at the end of the game instead of trying to score? Did you ask any hard hitting questions or just serve up softballs? Does he take any responsibility for the loss to Weber? If he had to do it over again, would he play the game the same way? Etc, etc...
By the way, what time on Monday is the coach's show? And, is it available on pod-cast?
Of course I asked him why he approached the final 48 seconds the way he did. It came down to field position. You can 2nd guess it all you want--I'm just giving a summarized response.
Your next question is confrontational.
As for "would he play...the same way?", no coach would ever approach a loss the same way after going back and reviewing.
As for the show:

The last thing I'm saying here is that the reason I piped up about the coaches show is that every year I've been here, the coaches show has not been at the same local establishment for consecutive years. The lack of attendance by fans turns our clients off. Yet, KFKA continues to produce one...it would be a shame if it went bye-bye sometime soon because of a lack of interest.
