Even if the virus allows us to play in Pocatello, apparently the State might not? https://www.postregister.com/news/g...le_d60c20b1-ca84-5ee5-a246-c284cb1025d2.html

And it's all being caused by the agenda of the extreme left.
While I understand this is a sports forum and not a political one, considering that this specific political issue has a direct effect on Hornets football and sports competition in general, I think it's reasonable and fair to be able to comment on it. But I'll refrain from doing so without the ok of our resident moderator.
I do have a lot to say on the matter. Nothing inflammatory, of course, but any type disagreement about what CA is doing, why they're doing it, and whether it is fair and just could be construed as inflammatory to others. Same logic applies to the topic of transgender and gender dysphoria, which these 2 Idaho bills are all about.
Unfortunately that's the world we now live in. Apparently a large faction of people believe that there is something written into the US constitution that affords them right to live without being offended. I've looked. Many times. And it isn't in there. But, alas, I'll hold back my thoughts until receiving permission to comment further.

Go for it! If it triggers anyone, they can fock off without KY.
“The state of Idaho has taken drastic steps to undermine the rights of the transgender community, preventing people from playing sports in school or having documentation that reflects their identity. Let’s not beat around the bush: these laws are plain and simple discrimination. That’s why Idaho joins the list of AB 1887 discriminating states.”

If this keeps going this direction, Sac State will be a gladly forgotten memory for me. I will never, ever leave anything to this SJW school in my estate.
What really pisses me off is Orr and Nelson are becoming SJW's instead of running a d@mn school. If somebody is here illegally, they are here illegally and deserve nothing from what I have paid in taxes. If you run from the cops and resist arrest and point a gun at the cop while committing a felony, you should be shot. I say shoot more of the criminals, black, white, latino, whatever.
Law and Order must reign, running the government based on your feelings is BS.
Realistically, just dump the program, roll it back into the PE Department and give free educations to every organic freak who can breathe and wants to spend their life studying womens studies and LGBT theories.
Why dont white lives matter? Or latino lives? Or asian lives? This Black Lives Matter thing is bullshit and it is appalling Grant Napear was canned because he said all lives matter! Yet Orr and Nelson are out their pandering to the black community like we are at fault for something. Vast majority of athletes are black, what about white, latino, asian, indian equalization?
Utter BS.

I guess venting in the “wrong places” only applies when certain people are uncomfortable.

So much for reading, huh? If you did, you’d know that someone asked for permission before doing so. And also clearly explained why certain politics are relevant to this thread. Apparently you chose to overlook or ignore both.
If you have a problem with either of those facts, blame the likes of CA and Connecticut for bringing politics into sports rather than those discussing it.
FWIW, I have plenty of alternative platforms to “vent” or, more applicably, have a civil discussion. All I did was ask to comment in a thread topic I didn’t start, and did so while remaining on topic.
Not sure if you’ve noticed or not, but leftist gender issues have crept into sports. A couple relevant articles are even linked in this very thread. Perhaps you should check them out before assuming this thread is the “wrong place”. Not only that, the content and tone of your reply seems to indicate you’re an active member of the bothered crowd too. Just saying....
Now, do you have a relevant thought to offer regarding the topic at hand? A dissenting opinion? If so, you could, I don’t know, share it in this thread. Or you can just ignore it. But trolling and complaining about the thread surely isn’t a productive way to contribute.
As you were.
