Wow, only 5 out of 15 from Colorado?
Out of curiosity, I looked at Montana (Grizz) and they have 12 signings, 10 of which are from Montana. Not sure what this means.

On thing I noticed in the past that if Colorado and Colorado state are having a rough cycle in recruiting then they will go after kids most likely to go to the smaller schools like UNC. Outstate schools have raided the state this year which has become a trend and will most likely continue until Colorado and CSU become good.
For example. Colorado and CSU were good in the 1990's and took a lot of the top talent in the area and didn't have to go after the lower ranked kids. Leaving a lot of good player to go to schools like UNC. It's not a full answer and there area always exceptions to this.
