What PSU lacks is team leadership, committment to the game of footall itself and TEAM.
We were disgusted by the complete lack of respect for the flag, the veterans, their own teammates and the game of football itself.
IMO, scholarship means you are being paid to play, that means you have a committment to show up for work and be ready to work.
PSU showed no pride, no repect, no integrity. We were there early and saw the team arrive, they looked like they could have cared less. No acknowlegement of the fans or show of appreciation, I mean where is the pride?
Maybe we are naive about college football, we have visited two other colleges, never saw anything like what we saw at PSU.
To tell you the truth PSU needs to go back to High School and try to capture some of the spirit of football.
It starts at the top, set the standard, bring in the right people, pull the scholarship and ship them out if they can't do there job, save PSU football.

I really don't know if I would want my son associated with things going on there. First of all, it was Veterans day weekend and you had multiple players on the sidelines showing zero respect for our country and the men and women who have served it. Specifcally # 21 and # 19 who not only were talking during the entire National anthem, but also did not remove their hats. A kid who I can only assume was a player, but was in street clothes was also talking during the Anthem. Secondly there were several others who were in my opinion, an embarrasment to the program, #32 whose pants were down below his behind, and a couple others in street clothes that were doing the same. I know that some will say that is just a fashion thing, but I say " there is no place for that, when you are representing a university". Lastly I was dissapointed at just about everything going on, on the sidelines. You had players some in jerseys, some in street clothes, who were standing on the benches behind the team throwing a football up in the air over and over, not paying attention to what was going on during the game. There were also far too many non-players on the sidelines who were mixing amongst the players, and also being a distraction. All I can say is that Coach Glanville better get a handle on the teams behavior or they will, continue to be a 2 win per season team. P.S. It wasn't just me who had reservations about these things, my son did too.
These posts were made by so called parents of recruits. what do you all think? Are they dead on? Or is this 1 person making trouble.
