Something WSU has never done...

Maybe Bovee could ask byu if he could say the opening prayer they do down there before tip. It's going to take a prayer to even keep it close.

Only 13 point dogs tonight. I think it will be 20-30 point loss to a non NCAA tourney byu team, I'm sure coach will have the guys ready to take a swipe at them, scratching & clawing all the way out of Happy Valley. gameplan or strategy be damned. Just follow the Flashcards.
Crying shame I aint going to Provo tonight to listen to the crowd sing good ol "Popcorn Popping on the Tree" song.

You say this on the heels of posting how lucky we are to have Rahe. :wall:

Doesn't a good coach know how to call & draw up high quality plays? Doesn't a good coach have unbelievable strategies on closing out a game?

Rahe is so damn predictable is maddening...
To me Coach Rahe's positives far outweigh his negatives. Does that mean I think he is the next John Wooden? NO clearly he has some weakness in his game.
Do I think WSU is far better off with him then without him? YES. :twocents:

:thumb: I have to agree with this sentiment. No matter...Rahe absolutely drives me nuts. His system can tend to be a bit too mechanical at times. The worst thing about the Rahe System is that he doesn't make changes based off of personnel. However, his record speaks for itself. He has accomplished quite a bit as the coach for Weber State. His system does work and, most importantly, it works against the right teams.

Just not the really important teams in our state and region and for some reason it doesn't really work until after Christmas. I am not sure that the system can overcome the three fatal flaws on the roster this year.

Right, and shouldn't a good system be able to offset flaws on the roster? If nothing else, a good coach should be able to adapt a system to the strength of the players unless the only players brought in are those whose talents custom match the system. If part of his system includes the prevent offense or selectively allowing the tail to wag the dog, then I'd argue the system doesn't work since those seem to be fairly critical components of many shoulda, coulda losses, including important BSC ones.
