The Bears are 11-6 all-time vs. USD in Greeley with an eight-game home win streak in the series (09, 02, 99, 98, 95, 94, 91, 90). Three of their largest home crowds have come against USD (7,520 in 1999; 7,198 in 2002; 7,135 in 1998). 7,000 people at Nottingham, that would be awesome.

South Dakota's Bennett Ranking on Hero Sports (97)
UNC's (81) (Pre-Knipp Injury)

From Hero Sports "BennettRank is an objective, predictive, data-driven ranking algorithm. It is sometimes called an "enhanced-RPI" measure, in reference the Rating Power Index used by the NCAA college basketball tournament selection committees"

We also lost to South Dakota 43 - 28 last year.

Their QB threw for 400+ yards on us last year! Ouch

Looks like their offense is pretty similar with a pass heavy, screen attempting, running plays out of shotgun type offense.

Probably going to be a pretty similar score to last year unfortunately, but hopefully the Mighty Bears can string something together and make it a nine-game home win streak.

Go Bears

Looks like SD gives up a lot of points but can also score. Could be a fun game to watch and one where both teams really need a win.

We will see how the guys respond. Collins said on his radio show that there was a players-only meeting after the game on Saturday.

Those are weird helmets. Decided not to go to the game, I learned my lesson last year. So watching it from home to put off mowing the lawn.

Watched the first half and they weren't terrible other than a shit load of drops... but you kind of knew they'd lose...

They were throwback helmets to honor the undefeated 1969 team. I think the old guys that came back for the honor at halftime could beat the current team we have now.
