sportsnetwork picks the Big Sky

UNC was projected to finish 8th in the conference ahead of ISU. I can see that, but I can also see us finishing 7th, maybe even 6th. I think one of the national magazines like The Sporting News picked us to finish 6th. But, sports network follows FCS football better than the national magazines.

I think we could finish higher than 8th, at least I hope, I know we lost some good talent but we also have some good talent coming back.

I believe in positive thinking so I respectfully disagree with those who pick us to finish in the bottom of the conference. It is better to shoot for the stars and miss then to aim for a pile of sh#t and hit it. I am looking for a top finish for our Bears and to get a post season playoff bid. Our time has come. Negative thinking in sports is a very distructive element. You need to believe you will win every game no matter who or what the competition is. I hope our players believe they will win every game they play this year. I will be there giving my support adding to this belief. Saying your a loser only makes you a loser.

IMO, UNC should be able to make a move because having close losses the previous year can lead to wins against the same teams the following season. Finishing in the top third of the Big Sky would be a good goal for the Bears to shoot for.

Possible wins: San Diego, South Dakota, Idaho State

The rest we'll blow if history is any indication.
