Enjoyed a good Spring game. Here's my thoughts -
The Good
Defensive line looks really good. The book ends, Kendrick Johnson, Kyle Todd and Devion Anderson will be very good this season. Lex Smith is on a mission too.
QB - Rubes looked really good. He had a zip on the ball that I didn't expect. They didn't call many running/option plays for him for obvious reasons - that it's a scrimmage. Also good for him for being elected as a team captain as a sophomore. That's usually reserved for upper class men. That also shows his teammates respect him.
Running game - looked pretty good too. I like Brandon Carteagena out of the backfield running those swing passes.
The Bad
Offensive line seemed to struggle. That could be because we have a really good d-line, and the sacks were "touch sacks"
Special teams
Still very, very, very bad.
