New coordinators bring new schemes. Barnum is going back to being OC. The main thing is deciding on positions, particularly quarterback (Eason or Alexander) and stick with him. We'll know a lot after the first three conference games (Montana State home, Idaho road, Montana road). We need at least a win somewhere among those three.

It is actually a hybird type of pistol. The pistol is traditionally a run oriented offense as designed by Chris Ault at Nevada, but Barnum has tried to incorporate more passing out of it. He also likes to throw in a trick play here and there, some that seem to come straight from the sandlot. The first year, Barnum was considered to be some sort of innovator. Last year, I thought we were way too predictable on offense, as compared to that first year.

Yeah he did. He had a pick last week as well. Working on getting on the field.
