Summer workouts

Hopefully we have a good majority of student-athletest that are staying in Greeley for summer workouts. So much of our success will be determined during the offseason. I look forward to seeing how the players respond to the new strength coach and his programs. This video (link below) gives a peak inside some of the hard work the guys are putting in this summer.

This is nice and all but every program every year talks about how much faster, stronger, they got and all the hard work that will pay off in the fall, yadda, yadda, yadda... we'll see...

That's true. We've heard this before, however, this time we have a new strength coach. That might make a huge difference.

The truth is..... Every program at every level is saying/doing the same things right now. Yes, we've heard it all before and will hear it again. Yes, we have a real strength coach again. Hopefully his influence will have a positive effect on decreasing some of the injuries that can be prehabilitated and avoided. And yes..... Marketing only goes so far..... But it's nice to think about our program without that pesky win-loss issue.

Anything would be better than what we had. We had way too many injuries and maybe this new guy will have an answer.

It would be great if someone closer to the program came on to the board and describe the differences between the two coaches.

nice little article in the Tribune about the progress the team is making in the weight room. I like what I see from Jeff Butler. He seems to be a solid strength coach. Here's the link...
