The Cats have only one game this week, Saturday at home to our new instate inconf rivals the SUU Thunderbirds.

Right now the Thunderbirds have a record of 7-5 in the Big Sky amd are tied with MSU for 3rd. On thursday the T-Birds play up in Pokeytato against the Bengals.

What should we expect from this game? will it be another SUU hackfest or will it be a blowout?

Im thinking a 12-18 point win something in the area of..........84-68

Go Weber

I'm predicting that we roll in this one. Used to playing tough on the road, coming off a dominant game, and at home with a week to prepare. We win big.

95 - 65

SUU has been playing pretty well as of late. They have Sr. leadership and a decent big, which, in the Big Sky, usually tranlates into wins. Honestly though, it is weird seeing the T-Birds doing so well. I didn't have them pegged to do too much in the Sky. Kinda nice seeing them exceed expectations.

I can't wait til the game. I have to go straight from work to the game but it will be a good end of the day.

weber vs suu: 23-6, 16-2 in ogden, (1-0 vs suu as a big sky member)

attendance vs suu during Rahe era
2013:
2013 @ SUU: 3914
2012: 6043 (monday night)
2011 @ SUU: 2,704
2010: 3,518 (sat night)
2009 @ SUU: 2991
2008: no game
2007 @ SUU: 4,036
2007: 3143 (tues night)

can we get 7,000?

Sheesh, I hate waiting a whole week for a hoops game, I woke up this morning and was like hooray thursday but then remembered our game wasnt till saturday

I know we all want to see a NoCo win over the Griz, but I am actually really hoping No Dak wins tonight.

The Montana State loss still has a very bad taste in my mouth

IF NORTH DAKOTA WINS TONIGHT IT WILL BE A 3 WAY TIE FOR 3RD... I HOPE AND PRAY TO THE GOLDEN GODS OF MT DEW THAT THE BEARS PLAY OUT OF THEIR MINDS TONIGHT.

Uh...isn't SUU vs. ISU tonight too? If not...WTF Big Sky!! Having Weber play SUU on Sat, ISU on Mon, UM on Thurs, and MSU on Fri...that is total BS. Not only is the UM game on a Thursday night, but it is also on Valentines. I don't put any value in that BS holiday, but you know there is a whole portion of our society for whatever reason does.

Yes. I believe that SUU is at ISU tonight. That should be a good game. It would be a miracle if UNC were to even be in the game with UM. Maybe they can just start a fight and get some UM players suspended for a few games.

Not sure which game I'll watch tonight. :coffee:

My apologies, I missed the SUU at ISU game on the earlier list.
Ooops!

Not mocking...I just wanted an excuse to buzz the Sky's scheduling. It has been a really long week.

SSU/ISU was a good game. SSU won in OT.

And UNC hung tough tonight. Griz didn't play well offensively and turned it over a ton, gave up a LOT of 2nd (and 3rd, and 4th, and 5th and 6th and....) shot opportunities. But anytime you win by double digits you're happy.

Tied your record! Beat ND Saturday to erase you from the Books. 8-)

Kareem Jamar is the real deal. 18 pts, 8 reb, 7 ast & 3 stls. He looked fantastic against UNC.

I am just hoping that North Dakota carries a little momentum after their win over the Bobcats and denies Montana the out-right record.

Interesting that that the 2 newcomers are in 3rd and 4th place in the conference. I thought North Dakota would be toward the top, but SUU has been a pretty big surprise. With all of these bad teams, someone has to win.

No matter when...that is a serious record and one that Tinkle and Co. have earned and should be proud of. However, and lets all be honest here, the Sky was a far better conference when Weber achieved the record than it is now. :ohno: Yes, I'm butt hurt about losing the record.

Weber will just have to beat it again :thumb:
