SUU.2

Kareem Jamar is the real deal. 18 pts, 8 reb, 7 ast & 3 stls. He looked fantastic against UNC.

I am just hoping that North Dakota carries a little momentum after their win over the Bobcats and denies Montana the out-right record.

Interesting that that the 2 newcomers are in 3rd and 4th place in the conference. I thought North Dakota would be toward the top, but SUU has been a pretty big surprise. With all of these bad teams, someone has to win.

i love that und and suu are doing well this yr. i dont see griz losing; they will be the first ever big sky team that isnt called weber to ever go 14-0. :thumb: (but it would be nice if we can beat them and they can lose to anyone else twice)

If the Griz lose to anybody, it will be us in Ogden, the Griz are a very good team, but after only losing by 2 in Missoula, I like our chances at home

I think that MSU can beat the Griz in Bozeman. Also, ISU could be their 'OH SH1T' game, coming up. ISU is much better than anyone expected them to be. UM doesn't have a cake walk to the finish. We should not have lost to MSU, but I like our chances of finishing strong. :thumb:

WHOEVER PUT SOUTHERN UTAHS SCHEDULE TOGETHER OUGHT TO BE SHOT UNTIL DEAD!!! NO THE SCHEDULE ON WEBERHOOPS, THEIR FINAL GAME OF THE SEASON IS FEB 16TH... IF THAT IS TRUE... SHOOT THE BASTIE!

That is not true. They play right up to the end of the season. They get Montana at home, toward the end. That should be a great game. :coffee:

I believe that SUU is at ISU tonight. That should be a good game. It would be a miracle if UNC were to even be in the game with UM.

SSU/ISU was a good game. SSU won in OT.

And UNC hung tough tonight. Griz didn't play well offensively and turned it over a ton, gave up a LOT of 2nd (and 3rd, and 4th, and 5th and 6th and....) shot opportunities. But anytime you win by double digits you're happy.

Tied your record! Beat ND Saturday to erase you from the Books. 8-)

No matter when...that is a serious record and one that Tinkle and Co. have earned and should be proud of. However, and lets all be honest here, the Sky was a far better conference when Weber achieved the record than it is now. :ohno: Yes, I'm butt hurt about losing the record.

No doubt. The orginal record is the more impressive of the two.

Any time that a long standing record is tied or broken, it is a big deal. To set those records. originally, or break them later. takes skill, determination, and a little luck. Congrats to UM! :notworthy:

I agree congrats Montana. I am looking forward to this week. I might not make it tonight if it is still snowing but I will make to the other games. I can't wait til thusrday.

GO BIGSKYTV!!! YEE UH!!!

Next four are big, hell every game is huge. Take it one at a time Cats. If Weber is up big today or Monday, I hope Rahe gives his bench extra mins in an effort to preserve his starters for the Montanas.

For tonight, Weber needs to box out and control the boards, guard their backcourt extremely well and limit turnovers and second chance points. SUU is coming into this game hot, the Cats can't let the T-birds get into any sort of rhythm. Gotta limit Huirs and Stevenettes touches. I'm hoping for a big game from Wheels. He played great on the road last week, would be good to keep his momentum going.

A big key to tonights game is going to the glass on both ends of the floor. We need to put presure on their bigs offensively and keep them off the glass defensively. We do that And it will make it easier for our guards to dominate theirs. Wheelright and Berry are keys to getting those goals, with their ability to slash to the rim. Likewise, Mook. Wheelright's play has been on a high level lately. His minutes will increase significantly and he may take over the starting role if that trend continues. The only thing that keeps Berry from playing at the point is our greater need for his scoring ability. He is arguably, our best passer.

I still believe that we role in this one. We have been playing on a higher level since being humbled by UM and embaressed (by playing so poorly) in Bozeman.

That Jacksonette Stephenette is a bit of a dirty player. He initiates the contact and the refs bail him out, time after time. He is a good player and a great shooter, but he gets away with murder because he looks like Justin Bieber and the refs don't think that a guy that cute could do the dirty little things he does. He throws an elbow into Berry and when Berry throws his arms up to protest, Berry gets called with the T. The refs refused to look at the replay. I think we had a very imature ref crew tonight. Jacksonette was chuckling at them as he came to the sideline. Those refs were way out of their league. Jacksonette had them wrapped around his little pinky finger.

With about 6 minutes to go in the first half Heuir had 12 of SUU's 22 points. He only managed one point over the next 18 minutes as Weber went from leading by 6 to leading by 20.

Bieber and Heuir combined for 28 freethrows, that is more than our WHOLE TEAM HAD ALL NIGHT

I hated watching Bieber get freethrows by jumping into our players who had thier arms straight in the air, I hope we never see that reffing crew again, great defense turns into 2 freethrows for SUU, how irritating, and those tech fouls, SUU initiated both and we got punished for both, Im gonna LOVE hating SUU

I was right in line and close to both of the tech fouls. In the first one Bieber jabbed Berry in the ribs and Berry just put his arms up. It should have been a tech or flagrant on Bieber. There was absolutely nothing to call against Berry. The refs refused to look at the replay. The one that got called on Wheelwright, after the foul Gelaun committed on Huier's layup attempt, Gelaun turned and said; 'You alright?'. Huier got in his face and said something, I couldn't hear, back. The ref gave a T to Wheelright. The ref came from behind Gelaun and probably couldn't hear what he said or the look on his face, which was concern for Huier. Once again, he didn't seek wisedom from the other refs or the video, he just jumped to, incorect, conclusions.

That was the worst, and believe me that takes a lot, officiating crew we have had in a long, long time.

Fire the BSC Administrator of Officiating!!!!
