hey da griz are you coming to the game Saturday?
We often travel with the team and have been to every venue, having finally made it to Greeley two years ago. Sorry to say that even with all the Griz there, game day wasn't all that inspiring. I'm sure that as your team improves, local interest will increase making it more worth the trip.

Wow, that's pretty insulting but I understand. The game day atmosphere certainly isn't what it is at Montana, and It will never be. With a winning team and a more interested student body it can improve though.

I was at that game two years ago and I have to say as much as it hurts Da Griz is right. But what do you expect when we have not won a home game all season and the conference power rolls into town.

When we start fielding some halfway decent teams come out to a game on family or homecoming weekend. Then you get a good game time atmosphere. The previous year on family weekend we drew more fans than the stadium's listed capacity. It can happen, and someday it will again.

Nice drive by UNC to tie it up at 3-3. Where are the students? There seemed to be more students last home game when the weather was horrible.

Argh, 1st and goal at the one and can't punch it is, give up a couple big plays and now penalties galore. Today is headed towards being a step backward.

24-3 at the half this game is over we are mailing this one in...

As a litmus test we aren't even close.

I didn't expect to win but I'm disapointed we just gave up in the 2nd quarter.

A team that quits is a sign of poor coaching I guess you can say.

Schrenk in a QB for some reason.

It's over, Wormer dropped the big one... :(

3rd and long we run a draw it gets stuffed and we go 3 and out... we've given up.

Wow, I've heard it all, it's now the UNC fans fault that the team totally quit...

Games like this cost coaches their jobs at legit schools.

So now we're going to play a QB carousel? What happen to Waggener?

I think there was more Montana fans then UNC fans, they follow their team like a high school team. I guess thats what happens when you dont have a big time D1 program, or big time anything.

Last word, I've had enough of Downing running draw plays when you down big, WTF?

Is Downing trying to get fired?

That's not what was said. I noted the lack of support DESPITE this team having lost four games by a total of 17 points. This team has shown a lot of heart while the majority of the "fans" checked out before the Idaho State game.

As for Waggner, since you didn't note what we noted as soon as we were informed, he suffered a concussion in the first half. He actually tried to hide it from the coaches & trainers, but they caught on at halftime.

Thats because it was cold as balls.

Yeah. Sorry. You can have it... look what happened here. No reason that some day someone can't copy it.

It's frustrating being from a school where you are at best 4th fiddle in college football. Be nice to get the coverage and the love that Montana gets. Just tough to take sometimes.

They laid an egg this week no doubt, the question is now will they bounce back and play tough at Montana St. or pack it in for 2008? It was disappointing they didn't put up more of a fight against Montana. If Waggoner is out this week our goose is cooked. I thought Orms plays pretty well, he seems to have a little playmaker spark in him but I don't think he'd be able to lead us to a victory on the road in his first start... I'd love to be wrong though. Although I think Montana State will be highly motivated after last year so we should expect a war.

The last four games are "winnable" now if we do that who knows but we've played the best teams in the conference already and nothing about the remaining four makes them invincible so hopefully we've gotten the intimidation out of our system and will have a chip on our shoulder this week.

That was a long day of football. I have no idea why we are kicking field goals down 35 points - oh yes I do poor coaching. The 4th quarter was good, except it was against Montana's JV. That was a poor showing - reminder me a lot of the past 2 years. We'll see how they bounce back.

I wanted a closer game and I didn't expect us to win, but we've got to remember that there is a reason they were #5 in the country. We played them when they were hitting on all cylanders. They did the same thing to Sac St a week ago.

I echo was blofeld said about Waggener. If he's out, we're screwed. I like Orms and he played well, but not enough to beat a tough opponent like MSU. I am praying BDub is ok, if so we've got a nice chance at beating MSU.
