The EWU video mega-thread

SE174,
Your video interupted my dinner.  That "DEFENSE" I have bragg about ever since Football started, and they haven't let me down. Looking at the video made me feel good. Sorry I got you up so early this morning. Sometimes I remember how hard it was for me to sleep, after 20 years plus in the Air Force. I am learning to sleep in a little longer, maybe I am getting over the three shifts we had to work. Back to my grub. Vic

Don't worry about it, you're fine. Let me know when you're headed out there next week. :thumb:

Great video to start the year! Good Job SE. Notable streeeetch play @ .58 sec. and face mask @ 2:48.
It will be interesting to see if anyone else will hold Marquise Wilson to 28 yds and no TD's this year, like Mr shutdown TJ Lee did.

The TD catches by Kauf were absolutely FILTHY. :notworthy:

Tailgating from EWU vs GRIZ game :D

Does anybody know the Main guy in this video? He's the first person in the video. "And take that one to the bank" He sits a little ways down from me at the games and I always enjoy watching him get up and cheer. Great energy at the games. Now if we could just get the rest of the upper fans to do the same. (it is getting better I've noticed)

Based on the discussion in another thread, I took extra notice at how many people stood up in the upper sections of the main grandstand during UND game....

Please remember about 30% of the upper seats are long time eagle seniors over the age of 70. They have been standing and cheering long before some of you were born. Do not confuse the lack of standing, with a strong desire and effort to support our Eags. Many of those seniors, still have field house dust in our lungs. Many stand tall 365 with the EAA checks they write each year. And a few of these upper stands seniors are those standing at away games all over this country.

I sit right next to a few class of '61, '62. The stories are great.

Good post Ron. Hell, I watched that field house burn down myself. They have been taken into account, and absolutely are they appreciated. But that still leaves around 60% without an excuse. :geek:
