As far as dauber goes, yeah, he was the smartest guy in his graduating class. heard he played the flute.
 
If these two characters were so dominating what the hell are they doing at u of i? If they were like most great college athletes they usually pick teams that have won more than three games in the last three years. I heard division three was looking for a few more teams maybe u of i should apply.

Who the hell is Truman Capote? I just want to know two other things: Is double 87 going to Vegas and Mazoola as well as other possible trips? Is the attendance lower during harvest in Moscow?

So in other news....haven't you heard? I thought Moscow did like Aberdeen and American Falls and had a harvest break in the fall for the kiddies to go home and help with harvest. So...no farmers in the kiddie dome for the BENGAL game.
 
I hope we work the Vandals. Im so sick of hearing about how great they are going to be! I think their running back is way overrated. What, im supposed to like him because he's from Se Idaho? I would take Barnett, Cornist, and Barnes over him any day. Those two secondary players don't scare me either. Why would they choose to go play there? We should just give the entire city of Moscow to Washington!

That's fine, you can think Bird is overrated all you want... the reality of the matter is that we have a JC All-American coming this fall, along with a H.S. RB that was ranked the best running back in the nation before this fall and dropped down to #20 (according to rivals) due to a poor SAT score, which he just recently passed. Don't believe me? Look for yourself.

As for our secondary, I was simply telling you what a Coach told me. He coached at OSU when they had their great year...eventually beating out ND in the Fiesta Bowl.

Washington can have Moscow? If that's the case, Utah can have Pocatello... actually Utah can have ALL of SE Idaho, will fit in nice with the rest of that hole.

Well Mcgaheeisgod, interesting comment on the moscow is to washington as poky is to utah. Really utah kind of sucks, thats beside the point. I can't think of a time that the bengals played a home game in utah.
 
Coaches always brag that their talent is the best they have seen. Who cares about that Fiesta Bowl win. Notre Dame wasn't even good that year. By the way his name is spelled Byrd! You are quite the knowledgeable fan :'(
 
I think most Vandal fans would agree that this game is winnable for the Bengals. Unless, of course, they are drinking the DE KoolAid. With ISU's strong offense and our renewed ability to throw the long ball we have a chance. Fortunately, we should have some depth in the secondary; I remember correctly DE likes to air it out, they better be ready.

Mcgayhole, you must be unfamiliar with Pocatello, if you weren't, you would realize that Pocatello resembles Utah less than any other town in east Idaho. Besides.... Spokane??? Salt Lake City??? Hmmm......

BioBungHole, I'm actually REALLY familiar with Poky... I was being a smartass from a previous post saying Washington can have Moscow. I could really care less about the whole issue. As for Vandal fans thinking this game is winnable for ISU? Give me a break.... I gurantee you would be hard pressed to find any TRUE Vandal fan out there that believes ISU would ever beat U of I in football. Maybe 3 years ago when we were under the reigns of Cable, but even the mere thought of you guys giving us a game under Erickson makes me almost fall out of my chair. I'm not saying you guys are a bad team by any means... and I'm extremely excited to see your new QB in action... but HONESTLY, I don't see you guys coming up here and giving us a game. The dome will be sold out for our first home game under Erickson, and not to mention it's Dad's weekend (Something ISU wouldn't know about because the student population is already chalked full of dads). I truly do hope you guys do well in the Big Sky this year, if not... Lewis needs to find a new job. I will always root for the Bengals, as I grew up watching them... but lets be honest here guys, it isn't going to happen.

I like how you guys keep talking smack about our football team when you're stuck in the big sky being uncompetitive.

You guys were 5-6 last year and 3-8 the year before. Great records in the big sky. Ya we were 2-9 last year. We also actually played some teams. Keep talking about keeping it close with one of the SEC's perennial cellar dwellars.

I think the scores of the last times we played you have been let's see....

I know it's in the past, but considering the score in the last two times we've played is 95-3 and the fact that you are uncompetitive in the BSC gives you momo hillbillies absolutely no room to talk. When do we get to cede you guys to Utah????

Just a side note since you guys brought up boxing...
UI won titles in 1940, 1941 (these two were unofficial), and shared the team title officially with Gonzaga in 1950.
 
Oh and just a note, Our biggest colleges are Letters Arts and Social Sciences with 3862, Education with 2096, Engineering with 1789, and Business with 1205. After these four you will find Agriculture with 1011.

I guess the only reason you guys only know UI graduates that were farmers would be because those are the only graduates with the mental problems large enough to want to live in the hell hole known as Southern Idaho. Woo hoo!!!
 
Hey everybody, look its another farming student. A little story for ya ll: There was a time (long ago) when I considered U of I, but I had no previous farming experience and I had all of my teeth so it was difficult to get in.

Hey pabsttubber, your team wouldn't have had a chance in the BSC. The two teams the vandolls beat last year won a total of two games. Your only improvement is the hiring of Erickson. WE'RE NOT WORRIED!
 
You guys certainly know me. How did you know I am an agriculture student with 3 teeth living in the back of a trailer I drove up from Pocatello attached to my 1971 Ford F-150? You guys nailed it. It was hard to leave Pocatello, but my white trash redneck fater beating me was incentive enough to pull my d*** out of my sister and not go to ISU.

But in all reality I am a finance and accounting student and I have all 28 teeth. Sorry to burst your bubble but I'm also planning on going to graduate school for law and business in Seattle. I wanted to go farm in SE Idaho, but I just don't think I could stand living in s***.

It's quite sad that in Napolean Dynamite the entire SE part of the state was made to look like a bunch of inbred farmer's with a collective IQ lower than the crap I took last night. That movie just made me want to pack my bags, move to SE Idaho, and start selling tupperware.

But really, you guys are lucky. Your standards are so low, that you could become meth addicts waking up next to a two dollar hooker in a motel bathroom every morning and you'd still be successful relative to the rest of SE Idaho.
