Thoughts about UNC defense

I know they have quite a few players returning from last season so that is something to look forward to. They did a decent job even with a few injuries. The linebackers are going to be looked at the most with the loss of Christian Sarmento. Then the defensive line has to do a much better job but to me it seems like they are under-sized. Although John Eddy should be back from injury so that is a plus. Next the defensive backs are a toss-up. Quincy Wofford has great ability and the only bright spot returning for them.
 
I think Max Hewitt will be all-conference at the end of the year. He's a very good safety. John Eddy will be awesome at LB. I agree that cb might be a struggle besides Q.
 
In my opinion I think our defense will be the strength of the whole team. The D-Line is solid, the only thing I worry there is the depth. Linebacker will probably be an area of some question, John Eddy should fill in nicely, and Matt King is returning and got a lot of playing time last season. The secondary should be solid too with Wofford, Hewitt, Askew, and Michon all returning. The biggest concern I would have is depth of the whole defense.
 
Marcus Lucas will be a nice player for us. Grayshirted last season and he was recruited by some big programs before he was injured in high school.
