Pat Kirwan's mock:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81f7375e/article/teams-with-a-quarterback-need-could-stock-up-early-in-round-2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Has him going 95th overall to Pittsburgh. :ohno: :evil: :thumbdown: :tothehand:
Good news bad news. Good news is he is the 5th RB taken. Bad news is he is very late in the 3rd round. Even Ingram did not go until the end of the 1st round. running backs are not in real high demand unless they are really something outstanding.

I'll place a bet with anyone that says he goes higher than 95th. :nod:

The bad news is Kirwan has him going to the Stealers. :ohno:
SE174;
Ya, I;ll take some of that. How confident are you in your position?

I'm very confident that he'll go higher than 95th. Unfortunately I don't have a very deep pocket book, or much of one at all. But how about a Championship hat?

If he goes 94th or higher, you can get me one. 95th or lower, I'll get you one. Deal? :)

clawman,
The thread http://bleacherreport.com/articles/6761...ks/page10" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, posted 4/25/8:52a.m. is awusome. I saw that move on much of Taiwan Jones moves when he ran. That move should be one of his pictures for our books. :thumb: :nod: :clap:

I was disappointed when he left, now that he is getting the publicity, I am very happy for him. He will do great should he stay healthy. :nod:

He has great vision finding those holes. We saw a few of the moves on the "Red Turf". Has anyone found out if Michael Roos and his family will be here this weekend? He came last year and enjoyed his time. He did make a picture with my daughter and Ganddaughter. Awsome family of Mike. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :clap: Go Eagles!!!!!!Vic

Your link isn't working Vic. What article are you talking about?

Since we are just talking a friendly wager and I already have a couple hats, how about a beer @ Bob and Rays beer garden?

Darn, I really wanted a hat, but I'll gladly accept a beer. :D Sounds good.
FYI, I'll be wanting a TALL one ! :D

SE 174, I can taste that tall cold one already! :lol:

If those predictions fall true, then you'd be buying me the beer, sir. I said TJ would go higher than 95th overall, as in between picks 1-94. :thumb:

Right, we are saying the same thing. How high would you think he may go?

I think he'll go from middle to late second round.

SE174,
Go to "clawman" post of 4/25/11, @ 8:52a.m. His thread has the picture. Maybe I entered it incorrectly. I just found his thread and it worked. Great picture. Good Luck.

Went to practice yesterday, weather wasn't as bad as I taught. Little windy, but acceptable, left about 6p.m.
I focused on our Line Backers yesterday. They all looked great. Saw Grant Williams #48, working with Rusty Haehl #43, Ronnie Hamlin #39 working with J.C.Agen #41,Bobby Gentry #47, Jared Walker #42,Zach Johnson #10,Ethen Robinson #23, & Pat Cook #27,Ethen back from injury, along with Ronnie Hamlin. They all looked great. Glad I don't have to face those young men. They are going to give other teams some "Headaches" I mean "BIG HEADACHES". They love to hit and hit hard.:nod: :thumb: :clap:

#32 Chase King was running along the sidelines, he is our RB that was injured last year, getting back in shape. Saw #77 Brandon Murphy practicing a little with the Defense, he looked great also, as a DL. Will have to wait and seep what becomes of him practicing "D" yesterday. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :nod: :nod: Go Eagles!!!!!Vic

Ahh, this one.
taiwanjones_display_image.jpg

You're right, that is a great photo. Wish there was a larger copy somewhere.

I'm probably not going to make it to the practices this week, but I'll definitely be at the Red/White game on Saturday. See you then. Go Eags!

Off The Subject; On to Men BB.
Forgive me for not remembering the Asst. Name, Not Legans,or Elo. I am very much impressed with him. The past two days I did go and watch was happening in BB. Both days I saw the Asst. Coach working with each player individually. Laron, McCrae,Carter Warnock, and others are getting their shooting eyes sharper.

Laron works up a sweat, and he is looking better along with the other players. I will not predict anything at present. Must hope for the best for our new Coach. I think he will make us proud of the hire. No prediction, just my opinion. ;) :thumb: :clap: Got to get my beauty nap :lol: :nod: :tothehand:

I love that "talk to the hand" :tothehand: Now I know what my children are telling me at times :) Vic

He isn't a first round pick but which round does Taiwan Jones go off the board and to which team?

Charles Davis, NFL Network
Hey JJ. I'm not that good at picking potential teams, but wouldn't be at all surprised to see him go in the third round. Dexter McCluster went in the second round last year, and Jones is slightly bigger, and even though he's fast, might not be as fast. They're similar guys, so it will be interesting to see how his value stacks up against McCluster based on last year.

Another NFL guy (Greg Cosell he actually knows what he is talking about..right up there with Mike Mayock) like how TJ projects as a RB in the NFL.

http://www.see-ads.com/nfl-mock-draft-2011-mason-foster-in-second-round-taiwan-jones-in-third-according-to-todd-mcshay" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Taiwan Jones, on the other hand, has been a bit of an enigma. His speed and explosiveness generated a buzz and his performance on tape is outstanding. But injuries have plagued him during his time at Eastern Washington, leaving many teams concerned. As a mid-round pick, Jones could be the sleeper of the draft and if he stays healthy, he could make an immediate impact in the NFL.

McShay has Jones going to the Green Bay Packers with the 31st pick in the third round. The Packers need an immediate boost to their run game and Jones could be an excellent change-of-pace back. With Aaron Rodgers at the helm, Jones would be in the best-possible position, in addition to joining the reigning Super Bowl champions.

So far 4 RBs have been taken. Ingram in the 1st, and Ryan Williams, Shane Vereen, and Mikel Leshoure in the second.

Edit: Make that 5. Miami, who brought Taiwan in for a private workout, picked Daniel Thomas at 62.

There goes Demarco Murray at 71 to Dallas, first RB taken in the 3rd. Stevan Ridley to the Patriots at 73. Hawks are coming up, but Ryan Mallet is still on the board, so who knows.
