Cade Beresford would be a huge add for a very young OL. Not sure why he's moving on from the Cougs but his brother is a DL and is transferring as well - can only assume this is a 2 for 1 deal. One thing I notice with the OL this season was the inability to get downfield and make a block, Beresford has great feet. His DL brother seems to have good burst and could play on the Eastern DL.
I also like the walk-on, Brady Okeke. He's got a Ebukam body type. Couldn't find any video, so not sure about his wheels. If he runs like Ebukam....

All these players pass the eye test. Eag's have had several UW transfers, not sure any worked out the way we hoped, per se, although they seemed to integrate into the team well. It's asking a lot to assume they'd come in and be as hungry as their talent suggested.

The Transfer Portal is BLOWING UP. So many players. Not sure this will end well for many of them. Slovis the QB from USC just entered as an example. That kid can play anywhere but maybe 5 teams that are set at QB... Bo Nix is leaving Auburn, his Dad is everything Auburn... Strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

Idaho did lose their TE to Utah. Fit used to be important to teams, not sure it's as much a factor any longer for the majority. Where a scholarship used to have value, now it appears to be the "cost of doing business" in the NCAA... Maybe it's been that way all along for the bigger schools.

Nothing new on MJ Cunnigham as far as I can tell. Probably more opportunities after all the bowls are played where some players will decide if they even want to play another year like we saw for Eastern with Boston and Lindsay. He did post this little surprise nugget on Bo Nix to Oregon. Honestly, not a Nix fan but he's actually more accurate than the QB they have playing right now, so it might be an upgrade.

Former Northern Iowa QB Will McElvain received an offer from EWU on 12/23.
Was a two year starter for UNI in 2019 and the Spring 2021 season. Lost his job in the second game of the year vs. Sacramento State in Fall 2021.
He announced his commitment to Central Arkansas on 12/18/21 but it looks to be a soft commit as he continues to receive numerous offers from FCS and FBS programs.
