me too. there have been several moments that look like coaching lapses in how players are responding to a situation and it's difficult for me to think the passing game doesn't share in some of those too. i just know he used to be able to throw a decent deep ball for 2 seasons of no loss football and doubt he has completely forgotten how to do it now. it's very catchable but it does take the WR to complete the equation and i'm not giving them a pass either.

We can all agree we need more out of the passing game. He needs to connect on a couple of those deep shots to keep the defense honest.

That said and all things considered, I think he's played well, especially on those two long option plays for TD's. If Taylor's not playing those don't happen.

he is playing well. poised. that 15 yarder opened up the next run play for sure. but the attempts have made UIW have to defend the pass as well. something eastern rarely did last year with kekoa. who btw, had a good game for tennessee tech against cumberland.

And that hasn't been mentioned much at all. It's hard to say how long it takes a new crew to gel completely but I'd say they've been "ok" so far.
