No, of the 17 UNC signed today, 11 were from Colorado, 2 from Florida and 1 each from California, Arizona, Hawaii and Kentucky.

A CB from Florida, not that in and of itself means anything but we've never pulled guys out of Florida before and a skill position none the less. I wonder if this has to due with Collins and some of the staff having ties to the south? :ugeek:

According to Hall two prospects from Homestead will be joining him at Northern Colorado. He started for three seasons at Ely and said the Bears were looking at him at cornerback.

That's awesome! He committed to UNC over 3 FBS teams. Nice! Collins did spend a year at Central Florida so that's his connection. He probably could start this year. Nice job Bears!!!

A new running back/linebacker signed with UNC about a month ago. Earnest Marshall from MClymonds High School in the Bay Area. He's a load! Nice get coaches! He and Travis Bernard are going to be quit the tandem the next few years. Here's an article from the area newspaper and a youtube video.
