• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

UNC Gear

Someone posted the other day about not being able to buy UNC gear at GOJO's. I ran into the same problem when I first came to UNC. I will have to admit one thing...by finally letting go, and letting a sport's marketing firm handle the clothing end of things, hopefully, we will see UNC's name out there. I have to say, If I was the President of UNC, and enrollment had just dropped about 6%, I'd be scrambling to get a UNC logo, hat, shirt, jersey, and underwear, on every kid in Colorado. I'm not a business major but I know one thing for sure...if you don't have it out there...no one is going to buy it. It's all marketing baby!
I just want to be able to buy my kid a onesie that has a UNC logo on the front, and on it's ass end it says " Home of the Montana Grizzlies"

Collegiate Sports Marketing is handling that stuff nowdays, in a deal that was signed in the spring. I have noted more gear at the Bookstore and Book Stop, and even at Sportsfan at the Loveland outlets.

There is a reasonable selection of merchandise at the bookstore. I agree wholeheartedly though that it needs to be more readily available than just on campus.

I have heard a rumor that GoJo's is somewhat blacklisted by the department because they were cheating the University out of royalty money. But as I said, just a rumor.
