UNC Rivalry Study

Some of these questions are really strange.

"I want football to win all games except when they play Northern Colorado Bears football"

What the hell does that mean?

This survey made me realize that as much as I dislike some teams in the Big Sky (Montana), I don't think we really have any rivalry's yet. Especially for football. I can't really call it a rivalry if the other team doesn't care about us.

After getting to the next section I realized there was a glitch in my survey. The above was supposed to say "I want Weber State to win all games except when they play Northern Colorado Bears football'.

Apparently my number 1 rivalry team was replaced by "football" on the entire page. My answers are going to be really strange.

I thought that was a really stupid survey. How do have a legitimate rivalry if you are constantly losing ? Don't you have to win a few more than we have over the last ten years ? I think the closest thing to a rivalry would be North Dakota as we used to be big rivals years ago. And would love to be a big rival of Montana (hate them)and Montana State but why would they even care about us. Like I said, I think we have to get a few wins under our belt with these teams before we start rivalries.

It has to improve. ......at this point, I wonder how we would do if the Big Sky surveyed teams regarding who they would like to schedule for a homecoming game.

It's strange, our basketball team has been competitive in the Big Sky and I still don't think basketball fans care about us. It hurts that the teams are spread so far apart. There is no real local rivalry.

Geographic rivalries may be touch to come by. A creative mind would find a reason to feel a rivalry. ...could be a school that out recruited us. Perhaps a school with recent experiences like us. A school with a high profile player to challange us. \

Oh I don't know about that so much regarding BB. I go to a lot of games and feel CSU, DU, Montana, etc seem to make for good rivalries !!
