so play calling intended to run the clock gave the opposition the ball like 4 times in the last 10 minutes and then they throw some stupid flat screen that stops the clock.... fuck this shit.

Man, if we're going to throw, why not throw downfield? Would've preferred a run for no gain over that crap! Why do we just seem to want to give them some degree of life support?

We gotta figure out how to make more of our yards if we are going to go deep. Now, the D is rising to the occasion, but the offense is too conservative and predictable, imo.

Well, you gotta give UNI credit. They're always a tough team to play and I think they'd probably beat most of the teams that played today in the first round. That defense is probably the best we've seen this season.

I don't disagree and the offense was just "off" today, but don't forget that we played the #2 defense in the FCS today.

That game didn’t go at all as I expected. Our defense played super tough and needless to say I expected a lot more points from the O. We smash-mouthed a smash mouth team.

I’m fairly concerned with the play calling. I don’t know if it’s an experience thing or what but it’s been sort of predictable and unimaginative. This is the same offense that put 71 on Idaho.
