Shocked they are downing it
Surprised as well. Helfredick shows a moment of class.

Oh, such nonsense. That's completely normal.

you came over just to say that? nothing to comment about on the game? One thing is certain, Helfrich certainly didnt feel comfortable with the lead he had with the number of times he went for it on 4th down.

Taking a knee there in that situation is completely normal behavior for Oregon. People who say they run it up are generally just looking at scores.

EWU has a great offense. It's not just the Big Sky that should be on notice.

Adams being in at that point (which I didnt care for, but style points matter and most of the country doesn't understand how good EWU is) is if course no excuse for head targeting and then acting like a punk.

Good luck the rest of the way; I don't think you'll need it.

Thanks for coming over, I wish more Ducks fans would have. As for the targeting I don't think it was intentional at all but I completely agree that he acted like an ass after the fact. That's not indicative of our program. I chalk it up to a Freshman playing in his first game and letting emotion get away from him.

Cheers. Coach Baldwin's response was top-notch. Good guy by all appearances, and certainly a heck of a coach.

... we'll do better than any other body bag game Oregon has played in the past (Tennesee Tech, Nichols St, Wyoming, South Dakota).

That won't shock me -- I expect it.

Oregon will win, and win big. The disparity in talent will be way too much to overcome. But, EWU will most likely play some stretches of inspired football and make a few more PAC 12 fans along the way.
19 points. I'm just curious if this qualifies as winning big?

go eags!

Ask DefendtheRed. I said the game was unlikely to be competitive.

To All,
We lost the game, I am still impressed with our team. We did find some bright spots on the team, Namely two Recruits #20 Sam McPherson, RB, and #33 Malcolm Williams Jr.RB, (Smash Mouth) I think he had more yardage rushing than Jabari Wilson, could be wrong. Red shirt #13 Mitch Fettig, with all those tackles I didn't see a blitz no where in the game, we missed a lot of tackles, and was not wrapping up. First game, hope we are ready for next week. UNI lost along with Montana. I still say the Big Sky is going to be a very competitive this year. Go Eagles!!!!!Vic Wallace

EWURanger,
#10 Cooper Kupp is in a class by himself, even the supposed bad ass Ducks couldn't shut him down. 15 reception for 246 yards, 3 Touch Downs, stadium record, 12th in FCS, 6 behind Big Sky and EWU Records. Coop couldn't do nothing wrong in that game. We have the damn best Receivers in the Big Sky, and consistently getting better. OL performed Outstanding. Quarter Backs was also outstanding. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

To All,
Now that we are all back to sanity, let us all think of the personnel, here, Idaho and California, with all the fires they are fighting, and lost of property. We can all pray that everything turn out for the best, and "THANKS TO ALL FIRE FIGHTERS" for their hard, work, and we should donate to "RED CROSS" to help our fellow citizens. Let us al pray for all. Vic Wallace

Forget the Big Sky, we have one of the best WR units on the West Coast. I'm sure those of you that watched the game on the Pac 12 Network heard the announcers say that our WR group is comparable to a Pac 12 group of receivers. They specifically compared us to the "Cal Bears" receiving group.

go eags!

CKupp2,
Glad to have met you dad, he seemed very happy for the Grandsons being at EWU. I am glad for both, could watch Coop catch those balls all day long, he makes it look so easy, love those spins once he catches the balls and make the defenders think they are on ice :o :o :o :o . He is one of the "BEST") if not the best. Hope he takes it easy this Saturday, but knowing him he loves his Coaches and Team, he will do everything in his power to perform. I and all Eagle Nation Fans wish him best of luck in what decision he makes from here onward. His health means more to all of us. Good Luck. Vic Wallace

To All,
Checked the Television Stations carrying the game, will be on Roots TV C - 687, DirecTV. Will be at the game, but set my DVR for after game watching. Like I have said earlier, need to get our Running Game in gear, or it could be kind of rough game this Saturday. Go Eagles!!!!!Vic Wallace

Thanks Vic, appreciate your kind words for Coop! I'm sure he's going to give everything he's got Saturday. Looking forward to game day.
