Bears are traveling to an old NCC rival in Vermillion, SD. The 'Yotes are a pretty good team and are ranked in the top 25. They have an all-American DE that will cause havoc on our stupid, poor, offensive line. Knipp should just sit this one out so he can play the rest of the season. Our line won't be able to protect him. Just put Regan or Mott back there.

Looks like they really should have beat K-State last weekend so that certainly doesn't bode well for us.

Hell of a first drive for South Dakota. Our D standing on their heads was our only chance and that doesn't look like it's gonna happen.

Holy shit, we scored a TD to tie it up after a huge 4th and 4 huge pass play.

Our defense is just giving this away. Would be a 3rd and 7 from midfield but we rough the passer, then we go offside, then we have an easy interception but get called for a pass interference that the player didn't need to do.
Coach Collins teaching at its finest.

And another personal foul off of the kick-off. Edit: and a false start on the first play from scrimmage.
Should have been 1 and 10 on the 26 now it's 1 and 15 on the 11. 6 penalties in the first 9 minutes of the game.

Holy crap, the Bears are torching the USD defense over the air. Long drive with huge pass plays ties it up at 14.

They played hard for the first few minutes, and then decided to call it good.

Pretty much.
342 yards passing in the first half for USD (439 yards total. It's like a video game for them. On the bright side, their punter is probably really bored (zero punts).

This team is undisciplined. So many stupid penalties on key drives. Another frustrating lose. Colin Root needs to not be our kicker.

This game was painful to watch. There were so many stupid penalties and missed opportunities. The players need to get their act together or it will be a long season. Don't blame the coaches on this one except on who they recruited to play on this team. We need players not talkers.

I disagree about putting the blame on the coaches. They need to set the tone from day one that personal fouls are not acceptable. There are so many mental penalties that it has to come down to the expectations from the coaches. Make stupid penalties you get benched. There doesn't seem to be any of that going on.

I think to be honest it is both.
