Utah has now won 2 in a row and both are DI wins. they have 3-8 overall. they look to be improved but the two teams they just beat combine for 3 DI wins and 17 losses. they lost at home to byu by 20 which is better than we did but we went to provo which is a tad different.

utah has the opportunity to leave the purple palace with 2 losses in a row and a 8-11 record in ogden.

a quick glance on espn and i can see 2 big differences between wsu and utah - rebounding and scoring.

points per game: WSU 19th, Utah 325th
rebounds per game: WSU 65th, 323rd

TIME FOR UTAH TO PAY FOR DISRESPECTING AN INSTATE RIVALRY THAT GOES BACK TO 1974.

WIN THE GAME! MAKE THEM REMEMBER THEIR "FINAL" TRIP TO OGDEN.

People shouldn't read too much into their two-game winning streak. It was against Portland, who is also terrible and friggin Idaho State. Hopefuly Tres isn't too banged up, though. Looks like Randy let him rest up his back tonight. Still counting down the games until we get Bullinger and Otis back. Any news on when we might see those guys again?

Unfortunately, he won't be back till mid-January. Mook could be back by the first week of January. We will need Mook for games at Eastern and Portland State. It was good to see Tres play a bit last night. You could tell his back was a bit sore by the way he was running. Nonetheless, he put in some good solid minutes for the Cats and, hopefully, was able to loosen his back a bit.

As for the Utes...Gotta make them pay for screwing over long-standing instate rivalries. Because of their conceit and absolute arrogance, the bucket was discontinued, and teams, if they want to play the almighty mUtes have to at their place. Weber needs to play their absolute best!! I'd love to see the Cats completely dismantle dr. chris hill pukes.

bull actually just has a brace on his arm. no cast but it does look like one. he is already shooting even with the brace on. and the injury has happened to him before though he was a kid the last time.

time to beat the utes!!!!! we cant control the injuries but we can control not losing at the Dee this yr!!!!!!!!! we are 5-0, lets make it 6-0 on thurs.

I know a bunch of Ute fans who think Weber is over-rated and will get killed by the, and these are their words, not mine, "PAC-12 Utes." They think their wins over the mighty ISU Bengals and U of Portland Pilots are signature wins and is a sign of things to come. One said, he could see Utah beating Weber by 20 points on Thursday at the Dee in LK's return.

This is proof of the mUtes absolute arrogance!! I hate Utah, and thier ignorant fans. Weber best put them in their place on Thursday. Yes, most importantly, I just want a win, but a blowout victory for the Cats, would be beautiful.

I also over heard Cougar fans @ the b..yu game saying that Utah would kill Weber this year & that Weber was much overhyped....

WSU must not only beat Utah, but by more than 19 which b..yu did

I would love to see Weber absolutely dismantle the Utes!!!!!!!!! I would love to see a 25+ point win. Our bigs should be able to score without too much problem. The key will be containing jiggy watkins. That being said, I hope we kick their A$$!

B..Y..U fans are idiots. They don't quite understand that their overwhelming win over the Cats was no coincidence. It converged and lapped upon a perfect storm of tragedies effecting Weber. First, 0Weber started the game without an All-Conference Starter (second time in two years that the Cougs have faced the Cats without one of their stars available) who had had solid games against them. Then, Weber, had another starter, same position, go down. At that point, Weber was still in the game, but was forced to play a true PF at the SF position or use an undersized guard. Next, the Cats, entire team, was suffering from a timely flu/food poisoning that left the team sluggish and slow. Playing with Flu like symptons isn't easy, to be honest it is Hell. Not to mention that it was the worst shooting performance by the Cats in a few years juxtaposed, with perhaps, the best shooting night by the Cougs this year.

Pathetically, B..Y..U fans aren't cognizant of the miasmas that can taint an opposing team. They categorize it, much like a medieval crusader would, as being, "God's Will." Yes, B..Y..U is well coached and talented. More so, they had their entire team available, were healthy, and playing at home. The Marriot Center (named after a prominent Weber State grad) isn't an easy place to play. The floor is uneven in spots and the size of the arena makes shooting very difficult for opposing teams. The Cougs definitely have an advantage, on top of the fact, that, for opposing teams, its usually 8 on 5.

Its really sad for the Cougs that their fans are absolute imbeciles and suffer from an acute form of cougar myopia, which generates their abrupt hyperbole and nascent beliefs. Really, if B..Y..U got rid of sports how many would turn on the LDS church and leave it? Their faith is founded in Ty Detmer and Jimmer Freddette not in any sort of diety.

I have a fried that went to school at Weber and got accepted into med school b/c of Weber's awesome program and he has the same lame mentality about the U compared to Weber. Anytime i talk Weber sports with him he just rolls his eyes and for some lame reason he prefers to wear red :ohno: Its always a highlight in my life when Weber beats the MUtes and I can put it in his face.

Weber by 21
