Utah Utes Thursday Night

The yewts aren't as bad as their record looks. They still have some tallented players and have recently shown a little more competetiveness. I expect them to come out with a great amount of emotion and energy. I think this game could turn into a dog fight if we allow them to stay close. We need to put the peddle down hard and keep it down the entire game. They will make mistakes if you presure them and that is just what we need to do. :twocents:

:agree: :agree: :agree: :agree: Also, how the heck do you share photos on this thread? I want to show off my sign for tonight's game, but I can't figure out how the hell to do it.

click the reply button. then just above the text box you will see some tabs. Click on the one that is titled "Img" then, right where the curser appears you should be able to paste your pic.

Tall...I love your $2.00 word rant. It's really too bad that BYU fans won't be able to comprehend what you said.
On to tonight's game. I have just one thought and it is this. I hear a lot of Ute fans crying because it's a "down year" for them.( Boo frickin' hoo!) How about this....we'll play with 2 starters tied behind our backs just to make it even....deal?

Great game Wildcats, largest margin of win over utah, and held them to the lowest points ever by a WSU team. It was a total team game highlighted again with sepectacular plays by Dame, who should pick up another player of the week (what is the record for a player during one season?)

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Wildcat Nation!

If not for PAC 12 refs, this thing would have been a 40+ point blowout. 29 points, with those refs is huge. I'll say it again, the UUs have talent, size, and atleticism. Looks to me like they are lacking in coaching. I give K two more years before they fire him. Recruiting is not going to solve all of their problems. I feel really bad for Loveridge. He is going to be a good player on a bad team and they are not going to get that much better over the next 4-5 years. :twocents:

I don't think they have hit rock bottom. They will suck even more next year.

Major props to Richardson. He is the most underrated player on our team. He struggled to find shots with Damian and Bam, but he has improved significantly.

That reffing was terrible. I think they gave up when they realized that no matter what they did the tides weren't going to change. Lots of bad calls. Its sad that Weber can't catch a break even in their own arena. I remember when I went to school there, it felt like refs were always pulling for the other team. I don't know what it was, but I have a feeling it was their hatred for banglehater.

Great game though. It will be sweet once conference play finally starts

I agree with you oldrunner. K will not be able to ride out this wave, and I agree they have some players. What a bad hire by Hill, and to think he makes 5 x what Rahe does is laughable....

Man Utah really stinks. I doubt they'll win a game in the Pac 12. I had a run in with their "awesome" fans tonight. Bunch of elitist snobs. I like all the teams in Utah when they're not playing Utah, but I definitely do not like a whole lot of other teams' fanbases.

Absolutely nothing to complain about in that game, aside from some craptackular calls. Even the national anthem wasn't half-bad for the first time in quite a while. 29-point win and watching all the red shirts walk out of the Dee in shame. I'll take it...

Great win, and a great Christmas present to the Wildcat faithful.
I love to see the Mutes get their a$$es kicked and walk back to Salt Lake with their tails between their legs.
I can understand why the Mutes are afraid to play WSU ever again.
Great win, Great effort.

Here's what I don't understand...with the team that the Mutes have this year...what the hell is there to be elitist and snobby about? :hide:

The ute fans behind us were sarcastically happy that the ute kid beat the weber kid in the power-aid relay course. so I guess they can hang their hat on that accomplishment.

GOODBYE AND GOOD RIDDANCE UTAH

Great Game Weber, way to kick the Utes to the curb, that was a b-e-a-utiful 29 point victory, and what better way to get it than in Utah's last ever trip to the Dee.

Merry Christmas Wildcat Nation.

The PAC 12 is a paper tiger in basketball. They manufacture 20 win seasons by bringing in pathetic teams and making sure that they have PAC 12 refs who will cheat for them. That is why you see them, with the exception of one team per year, bow out early from the NCAAs. Utah will now do the same as all the other PAC 12 sissies, they will schedule a lot of patsies, at home, and use PAC 12 whistles at every game. They will win more games next year, but they will be just as pathetic. I will be really surprised if there isn't a move to fire coach K sometime in the near future.

Anybody else think our crowd vs Utah was larger than our crowd vs USU? Or is it just me?

8,200 vs the Utes and 9,300 vs USU
